We had dinner here last night and it was delicious! Great service and ambiance! This was our 2nd time dining here and we will definitely be back!
Everything is absolutely delicious!! The Staff is friendly, excellent and efficient! The portions are very generous. The owner takes the time to introduce herself and check to see if you are having a good experience. I can't fathom the poor reviews as every time for us has been wonderful. I guess some people can't be pleased no matter what. They live to be unhappy and complain. If it's not to your liking, Lisa, the owner, is more than happy to correct it or get another selection. It's refreshing to see a homegrown, small business provide such a great experience. Try for yourself, you won't be disappointed. If it's not the flavor your expecting, speak up or better yet ask first if you have any concerns. Please ignore any poor reviews and just visit this wonderful little Gem!!! You won't regret it!!
Six friends meet for dinner at different restaurants often and the Blu Grotto was a new adventure for us. The atmosphere was lovely, the waitress was very attentive and the food was generous and delicious. Tiramisu was exceptional! A little pricy but worth it.
Great Wait staff, so polite and attentive, great food and nice atmosphere, and the owner Lisa wonderful, always comes out to make sure the food and everything is how you want it. I bring home leftovers and taste as good the next day! No belching, burpingor passing gas afterward like many places, won't mention. Everyone is a great dinner experience! If you haven't tried it,please check it out, you won't regret it. Bon appetit
Do you want to go to an Italian restaurant that serves every kind of booze known to mankind? Do Not Go to Blu Grotto!!! The do not have a a full service bar. They DO have wine and beer and an excellent selection of each. They DO have some of the best Italian dishes you've ever had. They specialize in Food, Not booze!! We've ate there three times now and I have to say, we haven't had a bad meal yet. Tonight the wife had Shrimp scampi and I had Spaghetti Bolognese. I had the scampi last visit and it was really good. Juicy shrimp and buttery pasta to die for. Now, I've had Bolognese a lot but not like what I had tonight . You have to try it yourself to enjoy it. It was an experience. It was the kind of dish you talk to family about and would eat for breakfast,,,cold! Service is excellent and the waitresses are quick and very polite/friendly. It has an ambience that is good for special occasions or good old family dinners..Call for a reservation. Lisa C. the owner has got the perfect mix. Great food, great service, great location and good pricing.
We went with a group of 12 friends. We made reservations so they knew how many were in our group.The food took forever. Some people got their food and others had to wait 20 minutes for theirs. Some of us did not like the sauce. One didn't eat the pasta because of the taste. The proprietor felt bad, so she gave some of the group free desert. If you go, there, don't go with a group more than 4. most of us won't be going back.
last night was our first visit to Blu-Grotto. It was wonderful experience. We had the best Italian food ever. I told Lisa ,co-owner that on a scale of 1-10 it was an 11!! Can't recommend higher.
Our sever, Berk, was amazing...2nd day on the job, personable, and so down to earth. The owner visited our table several times and was involved in our experience from start to finish. The food was flavorful, hot, and portions were generous. Highly recommend!
Today I want to the Blue grotto with my wife and my daughter, I've been looking for a good authentic Italian restaurant. I believe I might have found one. My daughter had the clams with white sauce, my wife had old fashioned spaghetti and meatballs, and I had the eggplant parmesan with spaghetti. All were delicious all prepared correctly. The waitress was amazing and the owner was very gracious I'll be coming back. Also I forgot to tell you the portions were very generous.
