We usually get pasta, this time we chose a pizza, wow!! Loved it, will get pizza every time, ordered a large, meat pizza, it was huge, we had leftovers for lunch the next day.
We ordered 2 different pizzas (cheese and margherita) plus meatballs, and we were surprised that there were 3 different but delicious red sauces. Most places use the same sauce on everything. Service started out good but then our waiter got absorbed watching TV so we were thirsty for most of our meal.
Let start with host which seemed to me the owner, quite arrogant! Many empty tables, and he acted like the place was full..but gave us a table on the back where the sun was burning our skin..We ordered a bottle of wine and a pizza (from 0-10, I’d say 4).At end, when the bill arrived the wine price was being charged $5 more. We mencioned that to the first guy who passed by. He said: “okay! I’ll fix it!“ a few minutes later our server/owner came put the bill on the table, and said: “I gave you a more expensive one!“. Turned his back to us and left... My husband is a gentleman. Paid the bill and ww left. But for sure, they’ll never see us again!Just carefully check your bill before paying it! They probably are used to do such a thing!
Excellent food and service! The pizza is just like in Italy where I used to live. So are the fresh cannelloni and other pasta, the fresh fish and seafood. And some nights there is live music. I love that place and definitely recommend it.
It was very busy the Sunday that we visited. They had a party of 30 in the dining room. We sat in the front near the window. Our food was very good but our waitress was very frazzled and distracted because of the crowd in the dining room. We had to search her out twice, to get our food served after a 40 minute wait, and again to get our check so would not be late for a show we were attending afterwards. We will certainly come again but this was not our best experience. However, the food was outstanding.
I absolutely loved it! It was my first time going, my husband and I have been wanting to go for awhile so we planned a night there with friends. I made a reservation for 10 and i was so surprised they were able to do it on a Saturday night last minute. When we got there, it was packed, great to see the business doing so well. We were seated over outside by the live music and what a positive fun vibe the whole walk to the table. People were clapping, dancing, singing along, laughing, great to see so much happiness. The smell of the food, the plates leaving the kichen onto the tables was spectacular! It did take a very long time to even get our drink order in, about 30 minutes, and to get the drinks was another 20, it was so crazy busy (that is the only reason I give it 4 stars because it would be 5 if not for the long wait.) The food came quick and to my amazement nice and hot and it all looked so good. The pizza looked and tasted so delicious, thin crust, crisp with the doughy center. The toppings were so fresh, the mussels so SCRUMPTIOUS!!! My ceaser salad soooo crisp, fresh, perfect dressing (not too thick, not watery) The chicken parm my friend had looked incredible too. My margarita was top notch, i will be back for a margarita and my muscles and ceaser very soon. The guy singing is quiet the star, he is so talented, so smily, going around to the tables and singing, getting people up to dance. He played and sang italian, spanish and english, so beautiful, the music and the performance. We danced and ate, all while watching everyone else around us dancing and singing, such a great atmosphere. Luisa our waitress was awesome under pressure, she was overwhelmed but never acted like it with us, she was very attentive. Great service and also the other staff that was there, like the gentleman that sat us and another guy that was with him were all very nice. The place is clean including the bathrooms in spite of how busy it was. Will be back very soon!
Congrats to the news owners. Food was amazing , great waiters and fun entertainment ( live musician). My only complaint was the gentleman (Host). Not friendly at all with any of the guests. I’m glad he wasn’t our waiter. First impressions are everything. I would definitely go back and and give it a second chance. Hopefully the host will have a smile next time .
We had a really fun time dancing to the live music / dj and the food was really good. The only thing that wasn't great was the Old Fashion as it had waaaay too much simple syrup and the sweetness was overwhelming
I got a large pizza delivered and was charged $189. I called and the owner said he would talk to his driver to see what happened, but believed me and would refund $169 ($189 minus what the pizza costs equals that). I called again 2 weeks later and the owner said I would get the refund. It’s been a week and still no refund. I tried going today and they open at 2:30pm. This is ridiculous. If I get no where today I am disputing the whole charge with my bank. Balls in your court umbertos I just got off the phone with my bank.
New to the area and we gave it a try since we love Italian food. I order a Beet salad with grilled chicken ($16.95), I thought it was overpriced, very little chicken and just 4 thin slices of beets. We also order a pizza which it took like an hour to get to the table. This place was Very disappointing. First and last time there.
