I wish I could give this place no stars. I don’t know if every location is the same but let me tell you I was so disappointed in this place. I’ve been wanting to try this place for months and have been so very hesitant. About a month ago I decided to try worst mistake of my life. Everything is fried in the same oil, I know these places use boxed potatoes for the mash but it’s like they didn’t even follow the instructions on the box??♀️ tasteless potatoes that they drown in gravy, Water has more FLAVOR then their Mac and Cheese ?? It saddens me that I even have to write such a disappointing review. I try to support my people especially islanders but the owner really needs to do better, make a better effort to serve the people better food.
Food was disgusting, you can tell they fry their chicken, shrimp, and fries in the same oil. Mac n cheese has no taste. They don’t even try with their mash potatoes they just drown it in gravy. I don’t know if every location is the same, but this particular location is a NO for me!!
I don’t know what people find so good about this place. As a person born and raised in the South I’m pretty sure I know good fried chicken when I come across it, and baby this ain’t it. Their chicken is a hot, rubbery mess! They soak it Crystal sauce before they batter it and call it “Cajun”but it’s no where near. If you like your fried chicken flavorless but overly salty and rubbery go for it!
Used to be really awesome chicken. Maybe there are new owners...chicken was definitely not crispy or crunchy, more greasy and soggy..sad.
I called at 6:22 PM after arriving and they told me it would be about 15 to 17 minutes it was still past 7 o'clock and someone got verified chicken before I did I think the people there are not smart enough to do things at the pace it's supposed to even if chicken is fried it only takes 15 to 25 minutes at worst if it's frozen these people do not know what they're doing change the crew you Immediately a lady showed up there and literally sand literally said she learned from the last experience why to call in here I am standing in line with the lady and she still has to wait 3040 minutes for a chicken sandwich
Good chicken but not great as it gets in Jacksonville area.
Was a slight wait but the fried chicken is the best in town. Pro tip, try to call in your order before going, that way you'll get freshly fried food, not that what is already done isn't great too. Not sure why this place not more popular than it currently is as it's by far the best fried chicken in town. This location looks like it was newly renovated and have a decent dine in area if you're not doing take-out.
Stopped here while in town for the holidays. This chicken was very tasty with the right flavor. They must have a secret in the kitchen to produce a chicken so soft not greasy and tasty. The fries almost melt in my mouth and to top it all off, you can have your drinks from the adult selection. I had mine with a cold Guinness. A must try for dine in or take out.
Stopped by Krispy Krunchy chicken today for the first time. This was absolutely the BEST FRIED CHICKEN I ever had. It was crispy and light on the outside and moist and juicy on the inside. I also had the jambalaya and it was delicious. The people were amazing, kind and extremely welcoming. I can't wait to try everything on the menu. Keep up the great work. Your doing it right!
The chicken was great place was good I wanted the jambalaya rice but they didn't have it maybe next time
