Sides were really good Mac and cheese was cheesy,baked beans was delicious and the collard greens wasn’t sugary like the like the reviews said I believe they fixed that problem but the pork chops had no flavor at all and I kept seeing a lot of pink meat and the rice was over seasoned I tried eating it but I just ended up throwing everything up I would only recommend the sides
I got the sweet and tangy fried ribs and the turkey wings with pigeon peas and rice, Mac and cheese, yams,collard greens, and sweet corn. It was delicioussss.
I live in Valley Al and I experienced tasty’s on vacation and I am a fan for Life! The fried ribs are to die for!! Mac & cheese slamming like somebody’s grandma is in the kitchen and baby those collards are just like us country girls like them! TDog I’ll be back in a month have my plate ready my boi!! I well enjoyed the food and the service!!!
This is what my wife and I have been looking for. Authentic Tasty Flavorful and well worth the trip. The food was fresh well seasoned and satisfying. I had the sweet and tangy fried ribs with the candy yams baked beans and cornbread and mystery drink ...so delicious. My husband had the fried red snapper the mac and cheese and collard greens and cornbread. This place is well worth the trip from NY. Travis the owner really makes you feel like family.
Great Customer service! Very nice and Friendly, Fast service, Food is Awesome! Banana pudding is the bomb! Absolutely no complaints at all.

This was my first time experiencing this place and it will be my last. I pre ordered my food and they told me it’ll be ready in 15 min. When I got there they told me someone picked up my order, with the same name as me. I told them I didn’t mind waiting for another plate, so as I waited for another plate, 10min passes and they came out to tell me they ran out of one of the sides I wanted which was collard greens. I said that’s ok I ’ll just get baked beans. So a good 30 min passes and they finally brought out my plate I ended up not getting what I asked for, lucky I opened my plate before I left because I was missing a side of baked beans and I had white rice when I asked for yellow rice so when I pointed that out he started to take my plate to the back to add the baked beans and give me the right rice that was missing from my plate but the owner said there isn’t anymore . So after like an hour of doing all that waiting. I had asked for a refund. Because they ran out of everything I wanted but the pork chops and macaroni. They should of just told me ahead of time instead of bringing me just white rice and pork chops……They need better communication skills
