If you think only California or Texas has authentic taquerias, you have to try Taqueria Latina in Pompano Beach. It's definitely one of the best in South Florida. We went for the first time this Cinco de Mayo, and they were going crazy with take-out orders. They told us we'd better just order tacos, or we might be waiting forever. We took their advice, and the tacos were top-notch. Can't wait to go back on a less busy day, and try other items such as gorditas, sopes, and caldo de res. They've held the line on prices, too, and didn't use Covid as an excuse to raise prices substantially like so many eateries have done. Although they've been here forever, the current ownership must be the best because we ate here many years ago and were not particularly impressed.
From the moment my husband and I entered this establishment I immediately felt like I was in a small town in another country. From the atmosphere to the little grocery next door selling massive steaks, the freshest fruits and vegetables to the many incredible options to eat. We decided to get Chiliaquiles which I've struggled to find since moving here 6 months ago. My husband got the Enchiladas Verdes. When I tell you this place is truly incredible, that would be an understatement. If you want authentic food with great staff and be on a "vacation" from home you must go!
Omg like they say the little places are the best. We had tacos, carne asada plate. Oooooweeee sabroso!!!!The caldo de res- just like mama makes /carrots tender beef chayote papas with corn tortillas. Yes I live in Boynton and YES I will make the ride again and again. Orale come and taste real Mexican food.
I so wanted to like this little Mexican restaurant, so maybe it was an off day?! We ordered chicken quesadillas, a carne asada burrito, the steak nachos, chips & salsa, & both chicken/steak tacos. Honestly nothing stood out, & I felt like more than half of our food was just thrown together. all of the nacho chips were burnt, & the steak in three of our dishes, were completely inedible. while my chicken tacos were okay, they really lacked flavor & they were not something I’d see myself running back to try again. I think that they have potential, but after spending 60$ it just really missed the mark for us.
If you like authentic Mexican food, this is your place. It just feels like you're in Mexico when you walk in the door. Amazing tacos, homemade hot sauce, flautas, tortas, etc. Get yourself a Micholada, chorizo taco, and some good tunes.This is as authentic as it gets in this area!
Was craving Tacos last week, and found this place and decided to try it and boy was i blown away. The authentic flavor and feeling in the restaurant is incredible and then the tacos themselves were fabulous. I’ll definitely be back frequently.
Having had authentic Mexican tacos in El Paso, TX, we were hoping to find a place here. We are not interested in an Americanized version of a taco. This place was recommended to us by a friend around 18 months ago. My husband and I now try and frequent this place once a month. They are the real deal as far as serving authentic Mexican Tacos. I have been visiting Taqueria Latina for the last two years and frequent this place about once a month. I just love the Tacos. The quality and consistency of the food is always point on . The service comes always with a big smile . The Restaurant is a simple cafe style is packed with originality.
Very good food, I always order from here. I had an issue with my order once it was an Uber eats and they fixed it for me no problem.10/10 would recommend very nice people work here.
The only decent taqueria in the area! Great salsa, green and red, that is actually spicy!
