Seaside Grill is 2 star rated hotel restaurant. This is a dated older beach restaurant (in need of major refresh to get rid of musty smell). Seaside grill has outside view of the pool Tiki Bar and partial distant view of beach. Menu is limited and fairly priced for a 2-star hotel “GRILL”. Had crab stuffed Mahi-Mahi, the small portion was very dry, as if was premade and reheated, simply OK. The fried snapper was huge and very good.(see pics) Highlight of this place is that drinks were strong female barkeep was excellent in service and personality. Note the name is: "Seaside Grill" NOT "Seaside Restaurant” if in neighborhood give it a try. I would not drive to get here. I probably would sit at Tiki Bar and get drinks if I returned.
We ate their back to back nights! Our waiter, Joe was tremendous as was the food and ambiance! Had ribs, chicken Parmesan , and as my wife described “The best fish sandwich she has ever had!!!” We also hear the coconut shrimp is great!?!
THIS PLACE HAD FREAKIN FLOUNDER....?? I am from up north and we love our Flounder, it's rare down here and when I saw it on the menu I had to do it.....????????
Pros: Great view of the ocean, great food, good stiff drinks - mojito, inexpensive and staff was friendly. Others have said it was noisy which might be the case over the weekend but we were there on a Monday night and it was hopping but loud noise was not noticeable. Cons: Service was below par. Our food came before our appetizer. Waiter seemed to have just got off training. Manager was very receptive, gave us the appetizer and took the cost of the appetizer off our bill :). Wouldn’t hesitate to return when we get back here next year!!
I ordered the fried flounder entree. Very tasty and reasonably priced. The only problem was the Cole slaw side which was a small dinky cup that was all of two tablespoons. VERY disappointing and tells me that management is trying to scrimp. I mean really! How much could 4 oz. of cole slaw cost? 25cents? And you served me 1 oz. Service was excellent. I’ll probably return but certainly won’t order cole slaw for a side.
This is our favorite south florida restaurant. The menu has a great variety with high quality food. We go there often. It is always busy. Samantha, one of the hostess was great at getting us a table. the staff is the best
We had very poor service, had to send my dinner back twice as it was not cooked thoroughly, Baked potato was not fresh. Took forever to get a 2nd beer and after sending dinner back twice I finally got a burger to go and I would have at least thought they would have comped that for all the aggravation I had been through but no and when I got home to eat it there was a hair on my condiments. So was not a very good first experience for sure. ☹️
I was so excited to find this spot until we had the service person neglect us. Everyone bringing the food out to us was awesome. But one meal was cold. The waitress acted disinterested from the very beginning. Didn't check on us. We ran out of water. We had to wait on the ticket. However, appetizer calamari was the highlight of the meal.
Nice place for a few drinks. A lot of locals frequent this large open air bar and patio. Dinner and appetizers also available, we had coconut shrimp which was awesome. Glad we stopped ny during our visit to Pompano Beach.
Check the bill before you pay. The management team adds an extra charge if you pay with credit card. Who goes to an expensive restaurant and pays with cash?? SCAM! This is BS! Food n service was very good.
