I ordered by GrubHub at 6:30pm as it said delivery in 25-35 min. Despite checking in with the driver and the restaurant several times, the order was not delivered until 8:35 - more than 2 hours! Worse yet, the driver told me this happens all the time with Ruby's. When I called the restaurant and inquired - they lied by saying that they were waiting for the driver (who had been waiting there) - and then rudely asked if I wanted the dinner or not. The chef said - the food is fresh, do you want it? The pizza was fine and I'm sure it is good if you pick up or eat in - but they are not honest and do NOT wait for a delivery!!!
I come from a Pizza Entrepreneurial family - My parents owned several small places starting in Brooklyn then moving to Valley Stream and opening a larger style Italian restaurant in Queens; if anyone out there remembers the name - Columbia''s Corner - so, from my experience eating the best to the worst, this was a pleasant surprise! Nice taste and crispy crust. Location is wonderful to enjoy a walk around the corner to the park & inlet. I only tried the pizza, but I will go back for more - give it a try!
I had a spinach and mushroom omelette, with mozzarella cheese. It was truly amazing ?. And their coffee is the best I've had in a long time.
Great location. Clean and well maintained. Friendly service. Extensive menu. Good pizza. Small parking lot. A little expensive but worth it.
Local Italian restaurant with excellent selection. We ate outside and had a relaxing time. Excellent service and the food was good, esp the garlic knots.
Eggplant parm was Really awful just uneatable!Veal parm was pretty tough.Neither of us liked our food.I do not recall ever having a worse Italian takeout meals
They may do well with Take-out Pizza orders, but can't serve diners in-house, on a timely basis. I waited one and a half hours for service and finally had to leave. Enough was enough! It took half an hour to get a drink and an hour to get a salad. An hour and a half later and I was still waiting for dinner. The place wasn't that busy either. Never again!

This review is confined to their online ordering service. It’s awful. We ordered dinner for two on an ordinary Sunday night- an hour and 15 minutes before hand. We arrived at the appointed time. They had not even begun to prepare our order. This was outrageous and unacceptable. Don’t order from them.
Excellent garlic knots. Chef Gino is awesome. Pepper n onion stromboli delish. Wine available n enjoyable. I will definitely be back.
