The ambiance of the place and the service are top notch. The serve a weekend brunch menu till 3pm, Your choices maybe limited but definitely not short. Sun-kissed shrimp is a must ?
My date and I had a beautiful time dining. Nice view of the ocean from the patio with NO traffic interfering with the view. Kristen (Christina?) provided superb service. Being in the "biz" for a few decades, it was her small touches that elevated our evening. For example, her leading me with an open hand to the restroom. Noticed that when I returned to the table, my napkin was folded. Food was good. My pecan crusted salmon was cooked properly, although the crust was overly salty. Ribs fell off the bone, but still yet firm. We are looking to come back.
7/17/2022- Wow beautiful oceanfront property the first floor is beautiful the second floor your breath is taken away overlooking the ocean magnificent. We did sit upstairs and we each just got a drink .I also got the white sangria here as well. I believe that Lucky fish and Oceanic are the same company because they’re tagline on the receipt. I don’t know I could be lying. LolThe white sangria was a bit different from both places here in advice Grill area interesting light refreshing drink we did not eat

My partner and I went on our dinner date to this restaurant on Saturday 9th of July. This is our honest review about our experience at Oceanic restaurant.We normally go to the Beach House restaurant which is right next to Oceanic. We wanted to try a different place so we went to Oceanic. We didn't schedule a reservation so we had to wait for 30 minutes which wasn't a long wait for a Saturday evening table especially on the beach. I did asked the hostess if there's somewhere we can sit. She told us the bar but it was pretty full. I looked around and saw a room that had seating and wasn't in used(my suggestion, used it for your guests as a waiting room while they order a cocktail or two), also there were two relaxing chairs behind the hostess. We asked if we can sit there and was told yes, in which we did.My first impression, the restaurant was very beautifully designed and decorated, most of the staff were very friendly. We were seated outside which was cover and you can hear the beautiful music playing upstairs. Our server was super friendly with amazing energy that we loved. Since it was our first time at the restaurant we had to asked a few questions about the menu and food and drinks suggestions. I had the coconut mojito and my girl ordered a virgin mojito with blood orange(she's not a drinker). When the drinks were served and we took our first sip we both made the same face. My drink tasted very sweet a light taste of alcohol, my girl drink were very very tart and tasted like just lemon water, it was clear looking and no taste of the blood orange. The waiter checked in and asked how was the drinks, and I told him what we thought. He wanted to fixed it but we told him we'll just add water to the drinks.The starter and main course were really delicious ?. The atmosphere and ambiance was just perfect. One of the employees took a photo of myself and my girl together and invited us to come back to Oceanic, I'm assuming he was maybe the manager. Well at least he had a management/promoter vibe.Oceanic is located on Pompano Beach with lots of parking in the area, you can go with or without reservations and the price wasn't to bad. I may plan a ladies night there before the summer is over. All in all we loved it there. I gave 4 stars because of the drinks(even thought they made it right by taking one drink off the bill).
Nothing like being seated at a dirty table. Sitting for dinner and only having had our appetizers and then being told the bar is closing and no more Iced Tea. Yet we have still not received the main course Service is poor Food is only ok As a local, we have tried this restaurant a couple of times in hopes that it would improve - but really it has only gone from bad to worse. Pretty for tourists lousy for locals. Photo is their version of an $18 shrimp cocktail-
First time there for lunch with my husband. Great bar service. We reserved a table but ended up staying at the bar. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. This is now our Go-to place over the weekend. I recommend the sunrise shrimp it’s delicious.
One of my favorite restaurants, I always thought I had a favorite meal which was the cashew crunch salmon but from this visit I can’t decide! The crab cake dinner was so heavenly, I don’t know if I’ve had anything better, I’m not sure right now I’m might remember of another favorite but right now that’s definitely the yummiest thing ever!!! I definitely recommend it and the other meal we ordered was the churrasco steak, it was so buttery and delicious, their sauce was on point and the mash was super yummy! And we added shrimp to make it surf and turf, they were cooked perfectly. Definitely will tell my husband to order that next time he comes with me! The drinks were great as always, I got the sunset vibes and it was definitely a Vibe. We also got a sangria and it did not disappoint. The service is always really great and everyone is very nice, friendly and helpful. They take reservations and sometimes they have a wait so if you can try and make an appointment but if you don’t the wait is always worth it. I love also that it’s pet friendly, so if you want to come for lunch they have outside seating were your pup can hang with you. There’s nothing bad I can say about this place, I’ve been going regularly since December of 2020 and I can’t wait to go back!

I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to food and service. While visiting the area for my mom's 70th birthday, they brought us to Oceanic. First of all, the view is amazing! The service was by far better than I have ever received to-date in NY. Our large order arrived earlier than I expected. Let's get to the good part ..the food! Everything, I ate was exciting and delicious! The appetizers, and we ordered many, were amazing! The sun kissed shrimp is a must, as well as the carpaccio! My compliments, to the Chef! Our entrees, were equally as good. It leaves me coming back to NY and hoping, I can replicate some of what we had, at home. I'm not done! We ordered the punch drink and I am sold solid on this restaurant, It was beyond delicious, I had two and would have taken one to go if I could. Lol. From start to finish, I'm impressed! Definitely, give it a try! I will be looking forward to my next trip back there. Thank you Oceanic, Natalia
