I can't express how much I love these guys. We started buying cheese from the grandfather and grandson duo a few years ago at the Parkland Farmers Market. It has always been delicious and amazingly priced. They are so friendly and sweet. The cheese is phenomenal! We normally get the mozzarella, burrata, and ricotta. It is all just as amazing as we had in Italy. Some basil and balsamic and you have an amazing lunch!

A special place to find home-made Italian cheeses. A real find.

Great service and they help you bring purchase to the car.great place yo buy curd to make mozzarella and other italian specialties

Nowhere near as good as Belgioioso. It was slightly bitter and not as rich or creamy. Also kind of tough compared to Belgioioso which I tasted side by side. I bought it at Whole Foods who also sells Belgioioso. Maybe this was just a bad batch but I would not take the chance and buy it again. Belgioioso is always good.

Nice Italian cheese vendor. Ricotta, mozzarella, whey butter and other nice products. Not a restaurant, just a retail store for these products.

Vito's the best!

Best of allMozzarella , ricotta , etc...etc...All the product.Hand madeBest of the best

Their store consists in a tiny room inside the family-owned factory where they produce their own cheeses. The place is located in a small industrial zone squeezed between two vast residential areas and can easily be missed, as there are no signs to advertise it.However, if you want to know how an authentic Italian mozzarella really tastes, you MUST try them: I promise you will never want to buy mozzarella anywhere else. They also produce a cheese called “primo sale”, a sheep milk cheese originally from the islands of Sicily and Sardinia: if you like ricotta, you will like primo sale as well (I actually prefer it to the ricotta). However, due to low demand, they unfortunately only make it for Eastern. The only downside of this place is that they are not open on weekends, so if you have a MON-FRI job and don’t live relatively closed you will have to take some time off to go there, but… you won’t regret it!

This place is very authentic. The food is delicious and the service is outstanding. I’m glad to see the restaurant is striving. I hope to be able to continue enjoying their food for a very long time. It’s a nice family owned business.

The place is in an industrial area. It's a factory, not a store. That said, if you want to have the best mozzarella ever, this is the place to go.I'm italian and lived the first 33 years of my life in italy; not even in italy i had fresh mozzarella like this.We also had the primo sale, a version of ricotta. My wife loved it, i liked it, but the ovolini mozzarella made the same day were the highlight! At very good price! Not easy to find, not a fancy place. But it's worth going, even for me living 35 miles north of it.
