Had been a while since I visited Lou's. And as always, ordered my favorite! Had the Lou's way toppings, and the flavor hasn't changed in all the years I've eaten at this staple in my community. First time I visited this shop, at another location, when I was 12 or 13. Now, it's in another location, but still fresh cut everything, the bread is so yummy and soft! The staff is friendly as everyone! And always with a smile! Y'all have to visit Lou's subs! Love you guys!!!!
I've been going to Lou's FOREVER! They aren't called Giant by accident ? these sandwiches are huge, fresh, and always delicious. Myself and many coworkers have filled the shop and stayed to eat as well as come in and take home. The staff is great and always friendly! Be prepared to walk in and be surrounded by the aroma of yummmmm ??
I just ordered throughout DoorDash.. i found a hair literally half way through the sandwich. Literally took a bite and had to pull it out my mouth? OVERALL the food is good. But the hair situation …Spaghetti was good.Philly cheesesteaks was good.Cold ham and cheese.. just the hair ?

I don't think much has changed since 1971 here. The place has some character to put it politely, and not much had to change to give it an earned compliment. The 1970s grape drink, fruit punch and lemonade fountains like Gene Hackman's grape drink in "French Connection" are really nostalgic. The deducted star is because the American cheese really needs to be fully melted to taste right with pastrami and the lobster bisque is actually imitation crab bisque, but that also means it's made from scratch. I would give this place another chance when I'm back in the area. Advise is to advertise "French Bisque" instead of specifying lobster bisque and specifically ask if the patron wants the cheese fully melted, or just toasted.
First time visiting today. I had the pastrami which was amazing. Definitely returning to try more of their menu
BLT, add turkey, add spicy brown mustard. Top notch, bacon was cooked perfectly. Ill be back for another one day.

No frills. Since 1971 and it looks it. You are not going here for the ambiance. You are here for the food. I do not order my bread toasted, they did not ask and I am glad they did toast. Unlike other places that toast to a crisp, Lou's has the toast to a SCIENCE. Lightly crisp outside and soft and tender inside. Efficient, though unmasked assembly line coordinating with a small kitchen. A great sub. A bit out of my way, but I will be back soon. Same meal that I had at a competitor a few weeks back. No comparison.
really good sandwich! bread was fresh,lots of extras ,large amount of meat. workers were friendly and informative ?
