I dont know what happened but the quality of food at this location has dropped. I keep getting soggy and mushy rice..i thought it was because I came when the store was closing but I went back a few more times in the afternoon and it was the same. I wont be coming back. Gross
I will never go back to this location. No A/C, door was wide open. The food was not even tasteful. The meat had no flavor and the scallops were gummy. The salad was mixed with hot food so it was withered.
Ordered a Chicken Bowl. The on-screen menu says that it is $12.52. Lady was going to charge me $14. But I told her that in the menu says $12.52. Charges me that instead and adds $1.00 extra because it is "chicken".Last time I am buying from this one.
Our food took a long time to come out but it was DELICIOUS. The restaurant looks like a fast food place, but it is not fast food quality. The food is amazing. I will return.
I only choose a 1 star due to the fact I have no other choose but too. I ordered 2 steak meals and when I opened it up i was disgusting surprise to find a long hair in my food. When I call the store the lady who answer felt as if I was a bother and that the hair was no issue. Well the issue was disgusted and I ended up vomiting along with my spouse and it was a waste a time, money and food. It was so rude and unprofessional in their part. i will never go again!
Went to this location and my order was taken wrong. I ordered the spicy garlic fish with the shrimp and scallops. Got home and called when I realized the shrimp and scallops was missing. I called and instead of saying he misunderstood what I was asking for, he tried to tell me what I wanted.I'll never go back. I've only been going back to La Granja because the other 2 locations have garlic fish with shrimp. This location closer to my home has shrimp and scallops. I was hoping the experience would be like the other places, but it was not.It even appears the fish and shrimp used is different depending on the location. I don't like the fish from this location. It's extremely oily and clashes with the thick garlic sauce, which also looks different from the other 2 locations. The rice had little balls in them....had the consistency feeling "grainy" and not edible. I couldn't finish the hot food, but thankfully the salad was edible. Ugghhhhhhh......
Hispanic black haired skinny gal working Monday morning denied me sauces. Gave me a limited supply of sauces for my $100 order plus tip. Disappointing for me. There was enough sauces in the bin.My favorite, so quick - Left a review a week ago. Tipped them a good amount for an order over 200.
Food quality is always great. Never had an issue at this location.. And food has always been fresh.
Order # 8102/20/224:11pmI ordered a whole chicken with 2 sides what I received was a cold chicken and 2 leftover sides the salad was great but I ordered that on the side but the 2 complimentary side dishes that I got I got were fries and rice stay awake stay very far away for I've been eating at LA grandma for the last 10 years of my life and this by far is the worst lagrandma I've ever been to when you 1st walk through the door you have this feeling of Of your inner consciousness telling you to leave immediately Everything there was just bad the chicken was old his the chicken was old dry no flavor tasted like it was cooked yesterday the rice felt like I got the very bottom of the Pan crunchy hard nit's hard not soft and moist and the fries they tasted like they were fried and oil that has never been changed since the place opened if you want real Peruvian chicken go to one on Atlantic and Royal Palm stay away from this one on sample
