Great service and delicious food.
Lunchtime, a friend and I were warmly greeted and immediately shown to an outdoor table. It did take a while for anyone to approach our table with menus perhaps because inside the restaurant, tables were filled and tightly placed. I had the Chicken Francese which comes with a salad and a side of spaghetti. The chicken (including the breading) was less than 1/4 " thick and was average, at best. The salad with blue cheese and a vinaigrette dressing was good. The spaghetti sauce was delicious. Garlic rolls were meh. My friend, a repeat customer, thoroughly enjoyed her Lasagna. Our waiter was virtually inattentive. Perhaps some potted plants could be place outside as there were simply tables and chairs under a canvas awning next to the parking lot. It's nice that other customers are extremely satisfied with the cuisine.
Wow, what a fabulous restaurant. The service was great and the food was delicious. It was our last night on vacation and we had my mom with us who wanted Italian cuisine and wanted to go to Olive Garden. I’m glad I read reviews and luckily we were able to secure a table. The freshly warmed baked bread and the scrumptious garlic rolls were delectable. Everything was phenomenal. Next winter when we leave cold Chicago, we will definitely dine here again.

Doesn’t look like much from the outside but once you step inside welcome to a world of wonderful Italian food. With you’re in the mood for a quick crisp martini or a house specialty beer you will not be sorry. From appetizers to entrées to desserts you will not be disappointed. A mature and honest staff make sure your food comes out like you ordered it. I am extremely picky when it comes to restaurants in this one was a very pleasant surprise. I shall return.
Delicious. All 5 of us extremely happy with our meals and service. Would go back over and over when in the area. We had veal and chicken Marsala, chicken parm and the special. Bread is to die for. Large portions, more than I could eat but the others finished their plates.
We pass this restaurant many times but took us few years to actually make a reservation. We went to dinner with friends, curious about the food. It was great, all of it ! Our teste buds were dancing with joy, the portions were huge and the service was wonderful. Rose, our server, was very knowledgeable about the food. Also,very warm and caring. Gianni's just became new favorite restaurant for us.
My family and I came here on a Wednesday night and thank goodness we had made a reservation because this place was packed! And rightfully so because Gianni’s is amazing! This is definitely going to be our go-to Italian restaurant from now on. The garlic knots and bread come first and they are incredible. Not pictured is the large fresh salad that comes with your entree. We ordered the chicken Gianni special, linguine with white clam sauce, penne vodka with chicken and veal Parmesan. Everything was so delicious and reasonably priced considering the massive portions you receive. And last but certainly not least, our server Bill was awesome! He was super attentive and friendly. Can’t wait to go back!
So we went last week, for lunch . Being coming to this place for the past 15 years, just consistently delicious food, the garlic rolls, the house salad are exquisite!!
