Ok how do I put this: the food was nice, but it was more like home cooked food than what you get at a restaurant. I spent some years in Guatemala and they eat similarly there. The meat was dry, the plantains not very ripe for having ordered ripe fried plantains… my beans were cold, I don’t mean warm but cold like they didn’t microwaved them long enough. The waitress took them back to heat up again. The ambiance was a bit odd, the bar was full of men, a couple of them dodgy looking lol. We were the only ones (my abs my 8 year old eating) the place was hot and the air conditioner didn’t seem to be working well. The waitress didn’t seem to be very professional and not a lot of experience and kinda had an attitude lol… but the hand made tortillas were banging! I loved them and they were freshly made. The rice was good too. Did I enjoy the food? YES I DID! The cook seems to be just a lady that cooks like she would do at home and I had no problem with it. I would probably cook like that too! Plus you aren’t paying all that much for the food. The cheese pupusa was good! As I said it just felt like I was eating home cooked food. Would I come back? For the food yes, the ambiance, no
Delicious!!!The food here is perfect, cooked well and delicious! I can't recommend it enough! the people are so nice! Some of the finest honduran food and just what I needed to feel right at home!
First time and last time for me! Went with my husband and kids to eat and let me just say I'm not coming back again. Food took an hour and a half to arrive. My food arrived first and it was cold and kids arrived last extremely hot! Not only that, our waitress did not come to us to at least offer something else or let us know that the food was taking long. When we asked if the food was coming out any time soon, I noticed her expression of annoyance...NOT COOL!
Tonight 4 family members went to eat here. 2 ppl ordered steak and onions with rice, beans, sweet plantains. Our steak was made a la plancha.They came out over cook. Hard and dry. We told the waitress if she could change it and we were told no. If we wanted another kind of meat, it would be an extra charge.Another family member ordered guabana juice and it was fermented, we told the waitress, she didn't offer anything in exchange. She actually took it off the bill. My other family member ordered a dish we can remember, it was chicken that was over batter and dried. The waitresses don't seem to know menu very well and had to keep asking the cook. The owners were not there. Will not be eating here again.
The food took to long and it was cold . The service was not good, didn't come around to ask if wanted anything else.
Waited 45 minutes for the food, rice chicken was cold. Waitress brought our food after few other tables arrived. Not a placent experience at this places . Will not recommended at all. Will not go back.
