This is a small mom and pop German restaurant that has a very foreign feel to it. It has some fun decor and service was good. Our waiter suggested the Bavarian platter and a pork dish. Everything we had tasted great, although the pork loin was very dry and pretzel was a bit stale. It was a great experience and we had so much fun.

Great food . Order the veal Wiener schnitzel

Very authentic German food. Lots to select from. I had the meatloaf and started off with the wedge salad (which was a meal all by itself). We had the fried Muenster Cheese and Pancakes as appetizers. The dinging group chose a variety of entrees, schnitzels and wursts. The beverages were ginormous At the end of the day German food is just not my cup of tea. The potions were huge and the service was superb. It was just so much food I didn’t even touch my entree.

Great place, great food!!

Great food and service. Great entertainment.

I really don't like giving negative reviews, but we also don't like wasting $75 on a terrible meal. I'll preface this by saying that our waitress, whose name I believe was Vanessa, was lovely, attentive and welcoming. But it went downhill from there. My significant other ordered a German pork shank, which is one of his favorite dishes, having lived in Germany for 3 years. It was not as described. It arrived without a hint of having been roasted in any kind of sauce, had been deep-fried, and was as DRY as shoe leather, with the sauce served on the side. AWFUL. While the cook was cooking our order, which was at that time the only order in the kitchen, we heard the microwaves going and going so we think that was involved too. It was simply horrible. The sauerkraut was mushy and tasteless. I have made much better sauerkraut by opening a can, adding caraway seeds and a little sugar. I had the chicken paprika dish with two sides, all of which had the flavor of cotton, which is to say there was literally no flavor at all. For $23 it was terrible. ( Or any amount, for that matter.) We were served a complimentary bread basket, which instead of having the good hearty, dense german rye bread you would expect, had a mediocre marble rye that we are familiar with seeing at Aldi. We were really kind of shocked because I can't say we've ever been to a bad German restaurant, and unfortunately, there are not that many down here in South Florida. Between the two of us we have eaten in German restaurants all over the world and never had anything this bad . I will say that our first impression of the place was not a great one to be honest, as the waitresses assistant, who I guess you would call the busboy, kept unsmilingly staring at us the entire time, which made us very uncomfortable, and looking like he would rather be anywhere else, and when he proceeded to sit at the end of the bar and continually pick his face, bite his nails, and vigorously scratch his hair, all while being literally three feet away from ladies that were dining, I have to say we were grossed out but didn't want to start being complainers right off the bat. I am really amazed to see mostly positive reviews here. We both agreed we should have just flushed the money down the toilet, for all the satisfaction this meal gave us. Really negative experience. Again, I don't feel good about writing a negative review, but that's a lot of money to waste, at least for us. I know places are going through a hard time right now and hurting, and that it is also difficult to get help, which is probably why we just put up with it and took the rest of the food to go, which we then dumped in the garbage within a half an hour of leaving. Bad experience. (Other than the excellent waitress, which is why I gave this 2 stars instead of just one.) But this is why you need a manager on site at all times. Having owned and operated two restaurants myself down here, yes, I was like a hawk and constantly had my eye on everything. Did employees always like that? I'm sure not, but that's the way I ensured that things were being run the way they were supposed to be. ??

Get your Octoberfest on at this place. I love the Bavarian vibe with Octoberfest mugs adorning the walls. They even have a drinking program and after so many liters you are on the Wall of Fame. The sauerkraut was delish and does well with many of the very heavy dishes.

The food is incredible here!!! It is some of the best German food I have had. The beer selection is large. The staff and service were great. We ended up going twice during our week stay in Pompano. I'd recommend making a reservation as it is small and fills up quickly. We will defiantly be back on next years trip.

Cute atmosphere with German steins covering all the walls, great food, and friendly service. The menu has so many yummy sounding German specialties, its hard to decide what to get. We decided on chicken schnitzel & rindrouladen, both huge portions and delicious. Warm potato salad was outstanding! The spatzle, German apple & onion soup, and wedge salad were all worth trying. If you have a group, I would suggest getting a few things and sharing...nice to try different things and portions are huge! Dessert sounded delicious...everything from Black Forest cake to Strudel, but no room...should've gotten it to go. Great beer menu and the larger boot glasses are fun!

We always come here for my birthday. The food is great, and the staff is friendly! I like the unique atmosphere. Please be sure to make a reservation, as they are always busy. A top rating of two rabbit ears up!! (\ (\ ( -.-) o_(“)(“)
