The food was good. I tried fish and fries for the first time. They have excellent customer service
Great food, service and price. They have great breakfast all day. Closes at 3 and on sunday.
Ate the sausage with a side salad. It was good. My son ordered the grits with seafood. He said it was great. The waitress did ask him twice if he wanted eggs with his grits bowl. Will go back again.
Heard about this place on a local restaurant review show and decided to give it a try. Its about a 15-20 minute drive from Ft Lauderdale. Nice building and plenty of free parking. They offer breakfast and lunch and close every day at 3 pm. They are closed on Sunday. We went on a Saturday morning around 9 or so and it was not crowded. They have limited indoor seating, and a nice covered outside patio with fans. We ordered two of the grits bowl, the shrimp and the corned beef hash. Both arrived within a reasonable time and both were nice and warm. The shrimp were grilled and almost up to the best shrimp I have eaten. The hash was nice and crispy. Both bowls come with a scrambled egg on top of the grits. As a native Southerner, I know grits. They were well cooked and tasted good. A word of advice, they could use a little more salt. Also I add cream cheese to mine and it makes a world of difference. The service was friendly and efficient. The server was very friendly and upbeat. We later learned it was the owner. Great job, sir. Overall, 2 bowls and 2 waters, tab as 19$. We added a tip. We will definitely go back and try other breakfast items and maybe lunch, too. A uniquely great experience in Pompano.
I wonder why have a business if your not gonna answer the phone I called at least 11 times from still no answer like really ...smh ...
I tried this place 2 times. The first day was a Friday there were 3 people sitting waiting when I walked in. All I wanted was a DRINK but the waiters didn't acknowledge me and pretend like I was not there. So I waited 3 more minutes and left. The NEXT day I called to place an order the first time the phone rang for over 2 minutes. The second time I called the phone rang for over 3 minutes. I thought the restaurant might have been closed since I took a picture of the menu the previous day. But nope they were open (the lady verified if when I picked up my order) b/c the hours on the front of the menu don't match the back. Eventually when the phone was answered I had a VERY nice lady take my order. My order included the waffle breakfast withe scrambled eggs, hashbrowns and bacon and a side order on the salmon patty. The only thing that was remotely good or i'd order again would be the waffle. The salmon patty tasted horrible no seasoning, the eggs might as well have been made by my one year old, and the hashbrowns had a soggy no crunch type of texture *( totally sade to feed to a 6 month old) with no seasoning. For this to be a black owned restaurant i expected them to be able to season their food or have some flavor. It was so bland I'd NEVER eat it again.P.s. make sure you grab your own condiments and ask for utinsles. And be patient on Saturday late mornings bc for some reason they are busy.
They never answer the phone. The food is good, but that means nothing if you never answer the phone
A black owned and operated location. The food is bomb..drink is bomb..people is bomb..prices unbeaten...the only downside side is its always busy w people..that's really a good thing tho lol...try it!!
I have guest from New York here with me at bojos seafood kitchen, we sat in to dine welp!!! We had to seat our self , no plates or cups we had to eat out of carry out containers and to go cups ….grits were undone , no condiments or fountain drinks only can colas…this use to be the best in town I am completely embarrassed and shamed
If you're in a rush and need to call in your order this is NOT the place. They don't take call in orders. The breakfast good though.
