Unexpected delight. Enjoyed the soup of the day, chicken and pigeon peas soup while my husband had their curry goat and rice. Reasonable wait time for fresh food. There was good flavor, but my husband was expecting it to be more spicy. He will order accordingly next time. I was happy with the soup's flavor and texture profiles. Look forward to trying more.
We come to visit my wife's grandmother for a few weeks every year and we're big foodies, so we always try new things we can't get back up north. This place was ridiculously amazing. 11 out of 10 stars. We bought a little bit of everything on the menu and everything was great. I will go back every year now, no doubt about it. Great food and great service.
The owner couple obviously puts love and dedication into this restaurant. There is not a shortage of Jamaican restaurants in A FL, so it's notable when we experience one with this level of professionalism, physical aesthetics, customer service, and food quality. They've only been in business about a year, and I hope they remain a Pompano establishment for years to come.

Been on our list to try for several months. Food was really good and beer was cold. Locally owned and operated. Small inside but very comfortable. Will definitely be back. (Our first encounter several months ago was their Halloween street party! That was a blast!)
Was driving by trying to figure out what to eat and Big O's was staring me in the face. Read the reviews and said what the hell. I'm glad I did. I ordered the oxtail, rice and peas, and cabbage. The food is amazing. Oxtail meat was fall off the bone and seasoned well. Thank you Big O's.

Our second time to this place. If you want traditional Jamaican hospitality and authentic food, this is the place to go in Pompano Beach. We had the Jerk Chicken lunch special with a request for goat curry over the rice. This is as good as it gets for Jamaican food. Highly recommended!

i ordered food online, $30 for fried chicken and an oxtail and when i got there i added 2 more patties, they charged me $40 for 2 patties. i did not realize i paid twice until i got home. when i called to get my money back you said you would refund me, i never got my refund and i tipped on both payments for a to go order. ill take the $30 loss and never come back again.
