The staff is friendly. The food is fresh. It's nothing special. I had a salad which was super basic. Partner had a burrito which was good. Their biggest selling point is consistency and freshness.The menu is on par with a lot of other tex mex places. Although this place has a few more classic options like Chile rellenos.Every meal comes with chips and there is a small salsa bar, which is very nice.
Today was my first time trying zona fresca and upon entering I noticed everything was clean and the salsa bar was very fresh and authentic, staff was friendly and the shrimp salad was so delicious & probably one of the best salads I’ve ever had in my life. I’m very happy to have tried this restaurant and will definitely be back again! :)
American style Mexican food. Pretty good nonetheless! But far from authentic tasting…

Zona Fresca Plantation.Ordered two chicken tacos special with avocado, etc. a few weeks ago. The chicken meat was very chewy and seemed undercooked. A week later, I went back and explained my prior experience to the cashier, and he simply listened, gave no response nor did he apologize.At that time, I still went ahead and ordered my usual two tacos and asked for them to be cooked well done and of course paid in full for them.A simple apology may have gone a long way, but it never happened!
Best fish tacos I've ever had, easily. I'd advise dining in though if you're getting them because they can get a little soggy in transit if you order via uber eats or doordash or something what with the warm fish and cold condiments being together. They make the food so quickly that you might as well just go there anyways if you can.
Delicious, fresh California Mexican food--reasonably authentic. Their salsas are the best in the area--made with love and care.

Friendly people, amazing salsa and food! They have paper straws which is nice but still use styrofoam for to go containers (paper ones would be better)definitely coming back!
