Dear Pei Wei,It's been quite a while since I have been to any of your locations. There's a reason for that. The quality of the food is not what it used to be. That, and my favorite dish (spicy noodles) was removed from the menu. That was a real head-scratcher, because it really was the best dish on the menu (by far).I recently heard that spicy noodles had been added back to the menu (under the name drunken noodles). I was pretty excited, so I decided to give you guys another shot. I wish I hadn't. I honestly want to fill this paragraph with expletives because the dish is remarkably terrible. It tastes like a microwave Thai dinner that somebody threw a little bit of basil in.I don't get it, Pei Wei. Who are you listening to? It's certainly not your customers. If so, then I guess I am not your target audience. I'm sure you are listening to your shareholders or your board, and if they see the stock go up a couple of points, then everything is a success. If that's how you define success, then have at it. You are the King of Mediocre Asian-fusion Cuisine. You win.Side Note: This review is in no way a reflection upon this particular location and how it runs day-to-day operations. It's a review only on the quality of food. Considering that this is a franchise, and everything is supposed to taste the same across all locations, then I'm sure the way that the food is prepared across all locations is equally this disappointing.
The food quality was terrible, something as simple as a fry rice had no flavor, the PadThai was wet as a soup and absolutely no flavor, the other 2 meals were super salty. We barely touch our food, we left Pei wei hungry and frustrated.I wish I could give it 0 stars, because the service was as bad as the food. We won’t go back, ever!
Everybody is so friendly there. The online ordering is a snap and ready when I had asked for it to be. Added bonus, there's always online promotions and rewards that make it that much sweeter.
The manager here is a piece of work. She is dismissive and doesn't seem to either understand her role or care about what comes with it. I'm not sure which it is. But overall terrible customer service and a lack of general regard for one's job. I recommend eating at Wawa or 711 instead.
We had the worst experience here last night. The food was disgusting, the restaurant was filthy, the fountain soda machine was broken, the tables were not cleaned. We will never eat there again.
Lately this restaurant has not able to keep up with their food. I ordered 30 minutes in advance and I showed up and they're still telling me that I have to wait 20 minutes cuz they're behind on orders. And it's happened the last seven times I've ordered so I will not order from this restaurant anymore. It should not take an hour to cook one thing.
Ordered curbside pick up to be picked up at 7:43. We arrived at 7:50 and sent a text message per the instructions on the sign with our parking spot. After five minutes I went inside to find out what was going on. No one inside the business any concerns other than the fact that they were closing in five minutes. The chef pointed to a bag on the counter without saying any words presumably for me to go and fetch my food. I refused and stood there and was met by an employee and I told her I texted the number. I was told they were closing and didn’t get it. Finally she brought over my food. Not one apology for completely defeating the purpose of curbside pick up. In addition, the store is disgusting inside. Will not be going back there again for anything. Owners/corporate should really do a surprise visit on this location, it will surely be closing soon.
I haven't eaten at Pei Wei in some time. I liked it.. but last few times was slightly disappointing. I was on the fence but my son wasn't interested so we disappeared for a while.I got excited to see Pei Wei offered my favorite meal, Drunken Noodles. I literally crave this often. Then saw a coupon code for the meal to be just $7. Figured I'd throw another opportunity their way to try my favorite meal. I watched reviews and it looked ? and recipe from some alleged well known chef. Well, this will be my last order. I have never had drunken noodles I didn't like. The chicken is the worst consistency (very rough and grainy) and I spit it out. Tried another piece just to see if I had bad luck on the first. Same awful consistency. Decided to pick the chicken out and focus on the noodles since I never met a noodle I didn't like. Well. That was dry with no sauce and literally the meal is just not edible. Below is the pic advertised vs what was received. Actual item deprived of veggies and taste. Sad to see the quality of a place we used to frequent get so awful. We had a nice run, Pei Wei. Get better soon.
What’s the point of curbside pickup when no body answer the dang phone. After 5 minutes of continuously calling I had to go inside just for the worker not to show any type of care of concern about my frustration.
This is a great fast casual Asian chain. This location has always been consistent. Service is friendly. Meal times are reasonable.
