I suggested we go because I had tried the Deerfield location a few times and loved their clam chowder. Arrived after lunch rush and before dinner crowd- unfortunately no clam chowder on the menu. Service was pretty poor. There was all of 3 tables in the entire place including ours and our server was just not great. My friend ordered the Tuscan Chicken Sandwich. She enjoyed it and fries (no Coleslaw served with it per menu). I had the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich Medium (again no Coleslaw) but a massive amount of fries. The Buffalo Chicken lacked flavor/sauce but had potential to be good. While we were there chatting and waiting to be served the music went from light background music to 90s nightclub. It was crazy and I love 90s music. After about 3 songs we asked for it to be turned down and it was even before our server could go ask the manager. Not a great first impression...
I come to this place all the time & you really just can’t go wrong with anything. The menu is great, the food is great, the service is great. The wings are delicious as well as really everything else. I’ve gotten the Cobb salad before as well as quesadillas and sandwiches. Everything I get here is always delicious and the food comes out super quick! Will definitely come back!
Excellent wings, and the pulled pork Cuban style sandwich I got was killer. Great service.
While it's a shame that WoB didn't make it through COVID, Legends Tavern picks up their pieces with a great selection of craft beer, including their named Legendary Monk Belgian from Boca's famous, Barrel of Monks Brewing.
Legend's Tavern and Grill is a great place to be. Place was really clean and I was surprised that they are reusing the tables and layefrom the previous establishment that was there before them.Anyways to the food: everything was great. The appetizers were pleasing. The wings were good although I was a bit disappointed that the mango habanero dauce was not super spicy, and I have had it before and it seema like they toned down the heat a lot for the sake of flavor. GF had the black bean burger and she said it was average, and her fries were too salty. As for the beers we cant complain, they were cold and refreshing.Surprisingly the place was not as packed being that it was NFL Sunday.
So I’m giving a 4 Star for customer service! I ordered wings for my hubby’s birthday tonight and accidentally placed the order at this location and not the sunrise location… it was my mistake. I only figured this out when I went to the sunrise location and discovered I actually ordered from plantation location. I drove south to the new location that is very pretty and has a great atmosphere to pick up my to go order. Everything looked in order but I live in Coral Springs so won’t figure out flavor until I’m home. I then discovered my lemon pepper wings were to me, not edible, because they had a straight butter flavor. I’m used to the sunrise location and how they cook their wings (amazing!) so although the food wasn’t up to previous standards the customer service was top notch! The manager, Barry, took my call and offered to look at check and see what he could do and we disconnected the call. It seems that in that time he went back to investigate whether I was just someone calling to complain for no reason but he called back and apologized! The sauce was not up to their previously adored standards. I have to say I appreciate him taking me seriously… we rarely get their wings because it’s not cheap ($45 for 24 wings) but it was a special occasion and my hubby loves them. I may not go back to this location but anyone who does should know they care about their customers experience.
Food was great, service was really good Tiffany was a very good server. Lots of big TV's for viewing football game.
New to Plantation. Tucked away in the corner of the “Shoppes of One Plantation” which probably no one knows by name. It’s behind the Xfinity store and McDonald’s on the Plantation (not Davie) side of 595ON University Blvd (well you turn off). I really like this place. So far everything out of the kitchen doesn’t taste like it fell off the weekly Delivery truck. Different choices for bar food menu and mains than all the other places like Duffy’s or Flanigan’s around town. The New Orleans shrimp was great. Really different. Soupy broth with tender -not rubbery- shrimp. They even buttered the crisp’s. Also the corn nuggets were unique.Addictive. The hot dog is a jaw dropper. This place should be more busy. Easy parking. It’s in a complex with 4 other restaurants in a 10sec walk of each other. Order dinner at one of the others and sit at the bar before you pick up your food if you can’t find what you like on their menu. YaYa bartender was very nice. Indoor/outdoor open air dining this time of year (December) is perfect. Big screen TV games. Trivia on Thursday pm.
I hate giving anything under 5 stars but this past Friday night, our first date night in a long time, could have been wayyyy better if the annoying retirement party on patio actually acted like grown mature adults having a fun time. Everything about our visit was awesome except the noise pollution. Come on you managers overseeing the place standing there in the corner by the bar, close that huge garage door when there are a bunch of loud and obnoxious drunks on the patio!! ?
Delicious! We had an incredible time at Legends Tavern earlier this week. The staff and our server were great and super friendly which always makes the experience even better. We started off with the Strawberry Whitney cocktail and a souther sweet tea and loved both. As an appetizer we decided to get the mozzarella sticks with the marinara sauce and they were delicious. Perfect temperature and the sauce with the shavings of mozzarella were the perfect compliment to it.For the entrees we went for the Cowboy burger (comes with fries) and the traditional bbq wings and added a side of Caesar salad. Everything was great but I do wish the wings came with carrot sticks on the side as well.We also ordered the Chocolate lava cake for dessert and really liked it.
