Al-Salam Mediterranean Restaurant was recommended to me by a friend of mine. I ordered their chicken and beef open pies for my baby shower. Sona (Suzy) is the daughter of the owner and helped me with the order. She even gave me her personal cell number and was very responsive. Suzy is kind, humble, and flexible. My order was ready on time and everyone loved the pies!I highly recommend their Ramadan buffet during April. It's from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. every day. Everything is prepared in the house, fresh and full of flavor! It's the most authentic flavor of Middle Eastern cuisine that I have ever tried in South Florida! They use high-quality products and stick to traditional recipes from Palestine, Lebanon, Egypt, and Syria. And don't worry if you are not Muslim, everyone is warmly welcomed!I love supporting individual businesses and I am so happy that I discovered Al-Salam! Being someone from the Middle East, I have visitors almost every Mediterranean restaurant in south Florida, but this restaurant was exceptional. The food is high quality and represents real Mediterranean food. The waiters are very responsive and fast in serving the customers. The food was so amazing that I had to invite my coworkers the next day. We also went there during Ramadan as well. They have a buffet with reasonable prices and almost 8 main courses and 20 appetizers. The drinks, desserts, and soups were all included. This rare to find in a single place. The manager personally responds to any concerns and welcome her customers very politely and try to accommodate them in a very friendly environment. Glad to have such a place in Florida.
I have been eating in this restaurant for the past two years. The food quality is excellent and the service is fast. Their portions are big and the prices are very affordable. The sweet section is a whole different world of unique type of middle eastern desserts that they're known for. I was really happy when I found out that they included some of the sweet in the buffet during their holy month 'Ramadan'. They have a buffet that has different food choices and tables are always booked if I did not call ahead, which clearly implies the quality of food served there and price affordabllity.

Al Salam is a nice place to eat.It is very authentic in the food, the decoration, and the people who serve.Food: They give pita bread with garlic Mayo as starter and you can order as much bread as you want. It is delicious.I tried the Chicken Kafta Kabob (sorry I was hungry and forgot to take a picture but I will next time), the plate was huge and it is definitely good for 2 or even 3 people for $15 and it tasted good too.Desserts: they have a large variety of desserts and I would have given 5 stars if they were more fresh. They taste good but they didn’t taste fresh and I have tried them in 3 different occasions.Overall it has good food and I will definitely be coming back.
