Went for a rehearsal dinner last week, had reservations. Upon arrival they didn’t have a table for us. The female manager was rude, ignorant and unprofessional. The servers were kind but one table had eaten and had checks down before the rest of the party had drinks or food. Two peoples dinners never came, it was a mess and the manager made us all feel unwelcome. She crossed her arms or put them on her hips when talking to us and we felt she was confrontational from the moment we arrived. I’d never go back. We would have spend 100’s more if our drinks were served and refilled, it was a celebration and they didn’t fill drinks, not even waters they missed the mark completely. Management set a terrible tone. We had one birthday for a teenager in our party, ordered dessert and asked them to sing, dessert never came and they sang for a party near us.
Well, we ordered off the quick lunch portion of the menu. It wasn't quick at all, however, both of our meals tasted pretty damn good so we were happy. Place looked nice and clean. Didn't use the restrooms so can't speak to the cleanliness. This was not a destination. We were hungry and noticed that this restaurant was on the exit sign so we ate there. I would return if in that area during a meal time. Service was good and friendly.
Went to mi casa last evening expecting to have a nice meal. Wrong...after being seated (in a section that did not have a server assigned) had to stop another server and ask for a menu. We had already been seated for about 30 minutes. Ordered drinks,lemonade and diet coke,nothing exotic. Another 20 minutes before drinks arrived. Finally food arrived cold and tasteless. Asked to see manager,she said she was sorry but they were short handed. We saw quite a few servers milling about laughing and talking to each otherComplained about service and cold food. She offered to make another meal. Back in 2 minutes with second meal yep!!! Another cold meal. This was a very bad experience and will not be returning. Manager did not offer to discount meals that we could not eat so we left hungry and quite a bit lighter in the wallet.
Several years ago I had visited with my wife and we had several bad experiences in a row. Everything from the employees screaming kids running around the dining hall To Mediocre food.This time the food was as good as it looked. The service was excellent. Price very reasonable for lunch. It is like a totally new place.
The food was excellent. I loved the salsa and chips. The fajita salad was really enjoyable. I had the steak it was super tender. My companion had the chicken fajitas and cleaned his plate. This restaurant was recommended by family ~ and was a great recommendation. (I would definitely eat here again).
I have been in Florida since September and have been trying all sorts of Mexican restaurants as it's my favorite food. I can say that this was my favorite all around Mexican restaurant. The salsa was flavorful and the chips were airy and fresh. I had the shredded beef chimichanga and it was delicious. The rice was cooked well and the beans had the right consistency and served hot. My husband had a chicken wet burrito and he loved it. I am glad I found this restaurant, but saddened that I live in New Smyrna Beach so I won't get to become a regular. I can say I will be back anytime we head to the Tampa area.
