I ordered nachos and there was a plastic peel tab towards the middle when I went to grab a nacho. It was kinda of shiny so it caught my attention. I pulled out a piece of plastic what someone peeled off an outlet. I called the store to advise, the person I got was Clarissa which didn’t seem to care. I went up there to show and she then advise it doesn’t look familiar and offered to make my food again, I declined of course then some guy took the plastic tab to someone in the back with a slight smirk on his face. This lady only refunded the nachos which is fine but my entire bill should have been Compensated and an apology. I didn’t want to alarm the other customers so I left with only a partial refund, no apology or concern. This is extremely nasty on their part! I will be contacting their corporate office since Clarissa didn’t think I was of any importance and it’s ok to have stuff in the food. Shame on you
Not too happy with this visit. I've noticed it has been on the steady downhill with the quality of food as of late. This last time, the flour tortillas were stale, and the soda ratio (Co to syrup) was waaaaay off. There was way too much soda water, and tasted HORRIBLE! I went up and explained it tasted funny, and the ratio was off, she asked what else I wanted, and i said Sprite, and she said it couldn't be fixed, and she was very snobby about it. I'm probably going to take my "Taco Tuesday" business somewhere else.
Well I stopped here for Taco Thursday and on Thursday for a chimi. I orders the steak taco and the steak chili with mozzarella and Chipotle sauce. All of their food was excellent and filling for the portions. All my food came with homemade chips and Pico. Their sauce bar is awesome, I got their green sauce and some sweet onion chili sauce. Both were very tasty and favorable. The staff were all very friendly and very helpful. Great place to stop in for lunch.
Ordered lunch online and asked for it to be ready at 100. At 131 it wasn’t even made yet. They were filling in restaurant orders first. Never will order again on Taco Tuesday. Cancelled order and wasn’t even offered a free taco. Bad bad service.
Always great food and the employees are always nice,we spoke to the manager about how satisfied we were, for sure coming back.
The Food is awesome and the employees are extremely awesome, Definitely will be going back also they have a hot spices bar anything you want hot ,very,hot , extremely hot.
I purchase 3 meals, 2 for my kids and 1 for me. My tacos aren’t very well portioned. Ask if they could be filled because they were half empty. They come back with same tacos just filled with cheese to appear full.
Took way too long to get my food. I was the only person in the restaurant by the way. When I did the black beans and rice were barely warm. The shell of my chalupa was so tough a knife wouldn't cut it. Usually pretty good food here, they just dropped the ball this time. I will go back and give them another try.
Ordered 2 burritos and a side of hot sauce for delivery via GruHub. The tortillas were almost too tough to chew. The side sauce wasn't delivered. My chicken burrito was cold and the chicken was tasteless. While mine was cold my wife's was not which kind of eliminates the GrubHub driver as the problem. Not the first time I've been disappointed by Tijuana Flats. Think you just lost a customer.
This location is terrible! We just moved & this is now the closest Tijuana Flats to us. We frequently visit for taco Tuesday. We've been 3 times since moving and have been disappointed every time. They take forever & then the food comes out cold. We waited on our food for 30 minutes because they put our name in wrong then after 30 minutes they brought out food that was really cold & didnt have all the toppings we asked for. After saying something, they remade our food with no apology or anything. The next time we again waited about 20 minutes for our food, while people who ordered after us got their food before us. When we got it, it was disgustingly greasy. The shells were so soggy & falling apart. Nasty. Not a good location. We will be driving further next time we want Tijuana Flats.
