Giving a 3 because I usually never have an issue and the sushi is normally very good.Overall the sushi was put together poorly and didn’t taste or even smell how it usually does. It was kinda gross to the point it wasn’t fully edible and had hard pieces of fish in it. I order the same roll weekly, if not twice a week, so that’s extremely off-putting to me.Also, the second roll (100% raw sushi roll), was a new choice and that one was hot. I credit that to the packaging of the order.
Nickel city is a 9/10. Sushi is great and very reasonably priced. It is family owned and is very genuine. I had the Mexican, Japanese bagel, and California rolls. Loved all of them. The Japanese bagel had just a little bit to much cream cheese in a couple pieces but who cares…The sports bar and restaurant are separate spaces, just fyi.The music was great and the food all came out fast. That’s a big plus for me. The sushi bar was right on the side so you could watch him prepare your rolls.

First time here in over 4 years and was very impressed. Their Sushi was made exactly as ordered (California Roll with No Avocado) and was delicious. Even more impressed with their Salmon Teriyaki which was amazing. If you like Salmon you must try this one!
This had to be the worst tempura I think I've ever had, as you can see the onion rings were just frozen onion rings this way worth 13.95 , the ask for my credit before we ordered.
I really can't express how much I love this place. It's my go to for sushi. It's made just right that spicy tuna is fire. Place has a full bar with darts and pool. I go to the restaurant side for the great service then go play some dart and have night cap, almost every week and I'm not mad about it.
I've been going here for decades. It's not what it once was, it's been cut in half.The bar is still old rundown and dirty. No reason to go back.The susi bar is good. It's clean and the food is top quality. When. I go back it will be for this part of the business.The two sides appear to be different enough to love one side and hate the other.
I giggled so hard at the fact that there's a SPORTS BAR that does sushi, pho, banh mi, but also can get wings and a burger. This is absolutely my favorite place. Found out there's a sushi restaurant next door and the bar's kitchen has some really awesome Vietnamese women. This was so good. The fish was fresh, sweet and buttery. The pho was delicious and hot. And we got an app, a roll, a sushi bowl, and pho plus drinks for less than $50. We demolished the crab ragoons before we got a pic but they were very clearly homemade with siracha in their mix for a kick. They had sports on, darts, a pool table and some bar games. This is my new favorite place ? ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Absolutely amazing food ! The pho is delicious, quality food ! The sushi is incredible , it’s just tastes exquisite. Perfect mix of flavors. And very fast service without losing the quality.
