They opened at 10 am, then we came at 10:01 am; the inside smelled gas lead too strong. My boyfriend works at the gas company so he doesn't want something bad to happen to them and he told me to tell the waitress in Vietnamese that we smell it too strong and hope they will check it, but she got mad and said it was a food smell. Then we had a table; OMG! it is so dirty and has some bugs in the salt , the floor is dirty, too. I had a short hair in my bánh canh thập cẩm.
HORRIBLE SERVICE. A waitress with terrible attitude. PRICE WAS NOT CLEAR UP. For example, I ordered appetizers with I thought price is same at they have on thier menu. BUT NO, when they gave me a receipt, an appetizers's price on my receipt was cross so many times and it ended up with $60. I ordered a small eggs drop soup with $3.50 at their menu, but on my receipt was $8.50. So many problem with prices with them.Foods wasn't fresh. I payed over prices for everything.PLEASE CHECK THE PRICES WITH THEM BEFORE MAKE ANY ORDER.
First Time at Loon Fongs Nam Viet Bistro.It is Warm and invitinging decorated.The food was Fabulous.Big Portions.You can tell the food was prepared fresh.The Shrimp were big, not that pink canned stuff.The chicken was real chicken and hand breaded. Not that frozen stuff you get at a chinese restaurant.I would most definitely return again.

Pretty average i would say. Very filling. Big portions but would come back for like if i was craving viet food and i happen to be in the area.Also got there before the new years rush

I ordered a bubble tea for pick up and when I arrived it was not there for reasons not clear to me. They would not make me one because they said it was too late. They close at 9 pm and I arrived at 8:45.
Be careful...this restaurant is a scam. The staff most likely ask or try to figure out where you come. If you are tourists or out-of-town visitors, the prices on the menu are not the same prices they actually charge you on the bills (at least 2 times more). Being Vietnamese and knowing how much a typical dish usually go for at restaurants, when handed the bill I confronted the waitress, she got panicked and called the owner who told me he does not have money to print a new menu (lies). I indicated to him under consumer law, the prices on the menu, even mistakes, must be honored. I then asked about 18% gratuity on the bill, he said it is state law (lies), in Florida it is voluntary on services. I indicated to him mandatory gratuity has to be posted on the premise for patrons to see under consumer protection law. I also shared with him his scam will be reported to state and federal consumer protection agencies, he was visibly scared and told me we can have a free meal. I decided to pay for the whole bill they charged, knowing it was more than twice the prices on the menu. I told him he is a scammer and this would be the last time we ate there. I don't believe we are the first victims.
Boba tea (milk tea) very good if you ask what’s in it they tell you. Overall food and drinks very good! I would recommend for a special treat.
Beware, their smoothies are incredibly good quality with some ingredients being fresh, but they don't tell you or state anywhere on their menu that they use milk in their smoothies... could be very dangerous to those who are severely allergic, they may have a lawsuit coming their way.
