Delicious food!! Great people!! Thank you!!

Went to this Restaurant and on the door it had open Friday until 3pm. We entered at 2:10pm and was Greeted with "Sorry We are Closed, You have to be here by 2pm for us to Serve You!!!" Why do they not have on the door that they close at 2pm? Was not very Happy and will not be going back! Although, she did say, "We are open Tomorrow!" If You Plan to go there, you better be there an hour before they close!111

My sister and our kids ate here for the first time today and it was absolutely fantastic! Awesome food, laid back atmosphere, we enjoyed it and will be back! The Hawaiian burger was amazing!

I had the shrimp and grits. The grits were good and smooth and creamy. I think you get either grits or macaroni. I did taste the macaroni, cooked well and cheesy. Will go back again.

We tried True Grit today for brunch and it was amazing! The food was excellent and I would highly suggest dining there. I would love to dine again on a regular basis, but when I was presented with the check, I had a 25% catering charge added that was not previously disclosed, nor posted on a menu. I’m not sure if this was meant as an automatic gratuity because we were a party of 6 dining, but the server couldn’t explain what it was for either. She wasn’t sure if it was for an automatic gratuity or something else, the system just automatically included it. We had no take out. Ultimately, I paid the bill, but it kind of left me with a bad taste in my mouth. I love to support local establishments instead of chains, especially those supportive of the military, but I just don’t understand the surcharge.

Best delicious food,,, best amazing cooked Justin and best service. The memorable food I had a blast! Best burger and citrus salad in pensacola florida.. try it!! Yummy ?

Found this gem on our way home from dropping our jeep off. The place was clean and the food delicious. I had the Shrimp and Grits. Yum!!

Found True Grit American Bistro on restaurants.com and decided while we were In Pensacola to give it a try. Great atmosphere, clean, the high top chairs aren’t the most comfortable to sit in, and the decor is nice. My favorite thing was the corner table set for Fallen Hero’s.The menu is simple, and has something for everyone. I chose the Bistro Mac n Cheese Back 40, my husband had the Bistro Mac n Cheese Big Lagoon and we had the Bread Pudding for dessert. It was a bit of a wait for our food, but in their defense they only had one cook and one server. When we arrived all but two tables were available. With one server that alone is a hand full no matter how experienced you are.Good size portions, but the food could of been warmer. Didn’t help that the plates were ice cold, and we all know cold plates make for cold food. Bread pudding was homemade (I made sure to ask)very tasty, but for $7 the piece could of been a bit bigger. Total bill for two was $40(I rounded up) I had a $15 gift certificate and they do give a 10%military discount. So our bill was just shy of $25. All in all we had a great experience. We play restaurant baseball so all places get three swings before we strike them out. On our play card True Grit Bistro sits at 2nd base.

The food was very tasty and appealing the White staff was very friendly and helpful. I had what is called the wild West which is beef family slice with grilled bell pepper and onions served over gouda cheese grits. And I will definitely go back.
