Good food and service. Accommodating to our grand child's large birthday party during the week. Recommend this restaurant!
There was a vent above me and my wife at the hibachi table that was dripping on my shoulder and her head. We mentioned it to the staff and they moved us to a new table, which had a simular issue but it was landing behind the customers adjacent to us, not coming in contact with them.The chef's special (chicken, shrimp, steak) and filet hibachi were okay quality, not worth the price in my opinion.When leaving with a to-go box, the box was very greasy from the waitresses hands. I cleaned it the best I could but still did not want to get it in my car. I asked for a bag from the staff at the front desk but had to explain the situation to be given a bad.I have been here a few times before there is almost always and issue, we finally agreed to not return again.
I've been coming to this establishment for as long as they have been opened. I love the food and entertainment here. I celebrated my birthday with fifteen friends and we were accommodated. Everyone ordered drinks, some ordered appetizers; I had my favorite sushi, O-Face roll, and miso soup was also ordered. The hibachi chief was able to prepare everyone's different dishes so it was fantastic. I even got sung too and a pineapple fruit tray to celebrate my birthday. This has been and continues to be one of my favorite restaurants in Pensacola.

Honest review! The food is delicious; however, the service is terrible. A month ago we visited and requested dining instead of hibachi. Our waiter passed us over several times and waited on customers that sat after we did. We waited for 2 hours before finally getting our entrees. The waiter seemed to be new and we understand how difficult it is to find help these days. Today, we visited again. We waited 30 minutes only for the same waiter to start an order for a couple who had just sat down. No one had acknowledged us or taken our drink order. (Same waiter) Needless to say, we walked out. If you can't find waiters then don't open the entire restaurant.
Food was delicious and cook was entertaining. Had the hibachi chicken which was very flavorful. Veggies and rice was also delicious.
The steak and shrimp I ordered today was absolutely delicious! The food was well seasoned and steak cooked to perfection. I didn’t dine in but ordered pick up. My food was hot and freshly prepared to order.
We celebrated my nephew's 18th birthday ? at Tokyo's and loved the hibachi table dinner! We had the tuna & California sushi ? rolls! Filet mignon & scallops and filet mignon & shrimp dinners were yummy, yummy! We both had leftovers for tomorrow! Our chef was funny, friendly, and had a good presentation for all! He kept wishing my nephew Happy Birthday!
Super good cooking by the hibachi chef! Soup was just barely warm, and salad was fine. Kitchen was slammed, so our appetizers came out at the beginning of the dinner courses...but they were good.
