Loved sitting outside in the covered walkway. Great for people watching while visiting. Red fish and burger were really good. Mixed drink my date had was refreshing and tasty. (Sorry, can't remember what it was called, but it was pink). If they have the lemon cake dessert, highly recommend.Sorry about the pictures of mostly eaten food. We were digging in before we thought about taking any.
It doesn't matter what the reason is for visiting The Wine Bar on Palafox. If we are getting drinks, a happy hour glass of wine, a cheese board snack, a full table for dinner with friends, or a romantic dinner for two, they have always hit the mark. We've had wonderful experiences, even and incredible wine dinner with the chef's amazing tasting menu. The staff is great, the wine and booze selection is very good. The food is always delicious. We love the Wine Bar for any occasion.
Food and service was outstanding! Plus the added atmosphere and music! Just a cool spot! Great variety on menu, reasonably priced plus the Happy Hour 11-6 everyday with selected wines. Our server, Ryan, was fantastic ,very attentive and suggestive on menu items and off menu items. We will be back. Highly recommend this spot in downtown Pensacola!
Had a Saturday morning brunch/early lunch here and it was excellent! Fantastic food presentation, taste and table side service. Afternoon drinks were rightly priced and the atmosphere proved to be uplifting and cheerful - perfect for kicking off the weekend. Sitting in the open air shaded walkway was a unique touch that you don’t get elsewhere.
We got to sit outside on the sidewalk. Our server Travis, knows his wine and the menu well!! Very dog friendly! My red fish piccata was excellent!

Three years ago, while visiting Pensacola, we walked into The Wine Bar and had a lovely meal accompanied by great wine and friendly service. When we found ourselves back in Pensacola this week we made a beeline here, hoping they survived the Pandemic and all that that entailed. They did survive and the food and service was as great as we remembered. The cheese board is simple and classic with high quality cheeses. The lady sitting next to me was eating a chicken piccata that she said she gets every time she comes in. It looked fantastic! We were strangers so I didn't ask to try it, lol. It might be a long time before we are back in Pensacola so I can't give them all of my business but anyone reading this review should absolutely get over there!
The Wine Bar is incredible! Definitely pricey, but the food is very worth what you pay and so is the wine really. I went a few nights ago and my server was Jessica and she was super accommodating with my dairy allergy and helped me pick the best meal. I got the red fish picatta that the cooks modified to have no dairy and it was incredible.

Excellent ambience and superb service. Great burgers and an amazing hummus plate with a salad. Half price wine glass drinks for several hours not just one. Even saw a football game while eating. Will return.
