Everything was great. We got the Caprese salad to start us off, and the tomato slices, mozzarella and basil leaves were LARGE. We ordered the Bianca pizza and loved it. Its easily one of the top two best white pies in town.We waited until date night to try it out because the kids dont appreciate high quality ingredients. The price matches the taste of the food for sure. We will be going back to try more menu items.
This is my first visit to this establishment. My wife and I went there for our 40th anniversary. We were promptly seated and our drink orders were taken. At the same time we ordered an appetizer of vegetable tempura. Within minutes our drink was poured and a few more minutes our appetizer showed up. Then we gave our order for our pizza. Our waitress never let our drink glasses hit the bottom. Kudos to her. Then very quickly our dinner pizzas arrived. We had ordered 10-in size knowing that after the appetizers we would not be able to eat it all. Our waitress didn't even ask us if we needed a box. I think she's used to having to bring them out. You get so much food here for a very reasonable price. She also came out with two styrofoam cups ready to go with our drinks and our bill. This is an efficient place with their act together. Now let me tell you about the food. Boy was it good. Past tense. If you like tempera you will love theirs. And their pizza oh my gosh was so good and flavorful. I got the 10 inch Abbondanza full of various kinds of meat. And my wife got the Bianca Royale pizza. She like the flavor of her pizza but mention that because of the artichokes spinach and tomatoes it made it kind of wet in the center of the pizza and wasn't very appetizing to look at. But the flavor she agrees were very very good. All in all I think it was a very good experience and food quality and waitress and ambiance. I will be back.
Our food and service was fantastic. Jo, our service was on top of everything, she was great. Try the artichoke soup and the panzerotti.
Seriously...??..!! Stay Away... Horrible Horrible Horrible .... Ordered and it literally no exaggeration took over 2 1/2 hours....... stay away stay away stay away stay away
Great atmosphere, the staff was friendly and fast, the food was out of this world. The portions are huge also. This picture shows my plate and my husbands plate after we were done eating.
My Mom used to have a high-end deli in California with a wood fired oven. This place is the best pizza we've had since then. Fantastic dough, sauce, and loaded with your favorite toppings. Best pizza in Pensacola, hands down.
The bruschetta and pizza were amazing!! Best specialty pizza we have eaten in the states. The sauce on the pizza took me back to eating pizza in Sicily. The Wood fired brick oven puts a special taste in the food that you don't get from conventional ovens. Besides the food the wait and kitchen staff were outstanding. Even though the restaurant was packed the service was great!! Expect a bit of a wait to get a table at dinner time but it's well worth the wait. Thank you Tuscan Oven, we'll be back a lot!!
This was my first time here my husband brought me for date night and the pizza was awesome everything was fresh and well done in a hurry even though they had a line of to go orders that was on a 55 min hold time. The waitress was great and made sure our drinks was full even though we were outside eating to avoid the long wait for an upside table but it was great either way we will be back again soon!!!
Great locally owned. Simple menu but not just another pizza place! The brick oven baked pizzas are made with fresh ingredients and always perfect! They also have my favorite salad, yes salad! The Tuscan salad with olives and artichokes oh my!! Delicious! Great for a weeknight oit with the family or on the weekend for a quiet place to visit with friends or a date.
We visited back in April of 2015, and it was really good! We were driving through Pensacola today and my husband thought about revisiting, so we did! It was JUST AS GOOD AS WE REMEMBER!! He still got what he got last time, the Abbondanza (meat lovers) and I kinda changed mine up a little. I got the Smitty, took away the mushrooms and prosciutto, but added pepperoni and feta cheese. We also got the toasted ravioli that was delish! We got here just as it started getting busy! Our server was nice.
