The staff has free reign apparently. My dad went in to place a carry out order, but was refused because the woman helping him didn’t feel like taking anymore orders. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.

Doesn’t look like much from the outside, but it’s a nice little place when you go in. The side salad was great and the salmon fillet was outstanding!
“Had a very delicious lunch today(5/12/22) at the fishing hole but my server was totally rude! He had an attitude the whole time & after we got our food he gave me my check! he didn’t ask if i wanted dessert any other food or anything before he handed me my check. i felt very rushed but the food was amazing ! the lady server apologized to me & asked me if there was anything else i needed before we left couldn’t remember her name but she was so kind to us “
It was my first time eating here. My order was hot and fresh. The way the food tasted like they took their time and use nothing but fresh ingredients. Their customer service was amazing as well. This is definitely my go to spot now.
We had heard great things about this spot so we decided to try it. Wasn't very busy and it took almost 45 mins to get our food. The table next to us came in 20 mins after us and got served at the same time we did. The bun was hard on my fish sandwich which was served open face with a cold piece of cheese. My wife's tortilla shell on her fish taco was very hard to bite into and chewy and was also just slapped together; so messy it was hard to even eat. Prices were not bad for fresh seafood though. I will update this review if we have a better experience the next time we go in there.
Reminds me of the TARDIS...it is bigger on the inside than the outside.Do not be put off by exterior of restaurant. It is very nice inside, white cloth tablecloths.I had mullet plate with turnip greens, huge hush puppies. Excellent!My wife had Shrimp Tacos, she thought they were very good.Nice place for a date night.
This is one of our favorite restaurants for three years. I was concerned about the recent negative reviews, but went anyway, and I'm so glad we did! We ordered the grouper sandwich and the oyster plate with mixed vegetables and salad. The grouper was cooked just right, the salad was very generous, and everything else was tasty and cooked just right. The servers were very attentive and brought our drinks and meals in a matter of minutes. There were several other tables full, I estimate the restaurant was half full. They also came by a few times to see if we needed anything else. Very friendly and all in all we had a very nice time.
I read the reviews for The Fishing Hole before going and found I was not disappointed. My hubby and I had a wonderful dinner in their classy but not stuffy dining room with excellent attention from the staff. We plan to have dinner there again as I want to try the sheepshead fish!
I was in town to visit family and at a high recommendation for excellent sea food, we went here.It doesn't look like much from the outside but in my opinion, that's where you can find some of the best food.I gotta say, I wish we had a place like this where I like but you can't beat the freshness of a sea food restaurant by the beach. I'd be there as often as I could be.I had two beers from Pensacola Bay here. Served in bottles but brought a frosted mug to pour it in.We got the Smoked Tuna Dip as an appetizer. A very delicious sharable. Plenty to go around for 5 people. I decided to go all out and get the Seafood Basket and substituted my side for a bowl of gumbo for a few extra bucks.My parents said it was the best gumbo and they weren't kidding. It's delicious and filling!The seafood was fresh and cooked perfectly. The salad was also very delicious and fresh. It was hard to not fill up on it! Amazing meal all around. Service was great too. If you want delicious seafood from a small local business, come here. You won't be disappointed.
