I'm so disappointed with the change at this location. We have ordered from this Sonny's at least once a week for the past 7 or 8 months with no problems at all. Today, I went online to place an order for the same exact food I've been ordering. First, the website was changed and not only was I unable to just "Re-Order the last Order" I wasn't able to see any of the last orders because when I tried, I got an error message because it said the item was no longer on the menu.I recreated our regular order by selecting each item. It's not really that difficult of an order. One baked potato with butter and cheese and a BBQ sandwich extra meat w/ fries and a drink. Not only did they completely leave the fries off the order (yet they put 2 ketchup packets in the bag) the sandwich didn't have extra meat, and it was cold. The wrapper wasn't even covering the whole sandwich! The potato was scorched and overdone so much that you couldn't even mix the butter and cheese on it.I was so disappointed. Since we're under a weather alert, I just thought it would be a good day to pick up some food on the way home. I wasn't able to eat any of it and ended up cooking something for dinner anyway. The entire experience today was just terrible. I'm not sure that I want to try my luck again in hopes that they "get it together", To think that dinner is already made and ready to be eaten and then to get home and need to cook is just disappointing!
The food was delicious, but the portion sizes seemed a little small. Brisket had a really good smoked flavor. I am eager to try other items on the menu. The only complaint is portion sizes are a little small, but that is not enough for it not to get 5 stars. The flavor and service makes up for the portion sizes.
I had the St Louis Ribs sweet n smoky dinner and gave it a five star because it was a solid tasteful meal. The serving size was adequate but could have been a little more generous with the portions. Great family place to eat and I would definitely go back!
Lauren was awesome. The food was amazing. You won’t go wrong stopping by here. I’m from Louisiana and this was like my back home comfort foods with burnt ends and smoked chicken. The ribs were so tender! 10 out of 10 I’ll be back.
Had the chopped brisket sandwich with coleslaw sidekick. Was very delicious. Enjoyed every bite. This place has the best sweet tea hands down. Was a perfect blend of tea and sugar! Great place, very clean, and friendly staff!
No one greeted us when we came in. We stood there until someone saw us. The waitress seems like she is overwhelmed with the amount of tables she has. There's not many people in here so I'm guessing they are short staffed. It took a while to get our food. The food is not visually appealing or look like the picture on the menu, was not good and it was cold. The water tastes gross. It took a long time for our waitress to come back to remove a few dishes and ask if we were finished. The whole experience was a disappointment.
Wanted some BBQ in Pensacola, so we tried Sonnys and was not disappointed. Was very good and reasonably priced.
Food great as always service awesome. Odd they didn’t have pulled pork without sauce.
And this place was cool little joint. I only picked up doordash here but I'm telling you this place I got it going on, as soon as I walked in and started joking around with them everybody joked around back and almost seem like they everybody know me so that was a wonderful feeling made me feel important at least, the burgers look great barbecue look great, I mean I would be hard to find something wrong with this place so kudos to the owner good job. Y'all look like you got a great joint going on there
Ordered carry out at 5. Was delayed at office to pickup. Arrived at 6 and they couldn’t find order which was The sampler & a kids meal of chicken strips and fries. Got home at 6:35 and no sides.Realize y’all are short handed and busy but at least make sure we get what we pay for. Sure was a plenty of sauce in bag though. Had to warm up what food we got and it was good.
