This isn't the best BBQ I have ever had, but it's damn near the worst. I do have to say. I absolutely love good BBQ. I was born and raised near Owensboro KY. So I am very picky with my BBQ. But nonetheless this place is awful but for the great waitress. She was awesome ?. The Pulled Pork tasted like it came right out of a can. I had smoked wings for an appetizer thankfully so I didn't leave starving. The smoked wings are very good. The BBQ terrible. The banana pudding is ok. I would pass it by if you appreciate good BBQ. If you like canned meat. This is your place
The food was pretty good, and our server Kaitlyn was awesome! We had the sausage lunch plate and the beef. Beef was sliced thin and kind of dry, but not bad. The sausage was flavorful, the potato salad was good, the slaw (mayo based) was good, the green beans are out of a can but also good. The bbq beans were too sweet for my liking, but they're popular, so my taste isn't the majority opinion. I would definitely go again. Would love to try their key lime pie!
I really enjoy everything I've ever eaten here, especially the banana pudding. This is the only place I will usually choose a turkey sandwich over all the other menu items, and that's because the sliced smoked turkey is amazing!
Been eating the food for years. Good food, but the slaw is different than I am used too from here. Different taste now. Otherwise, great and drive thru cashier very patient and gracious. Not long wait for 7pm ish ordering. Pricier than the last time, but hey, what isn't nowadays
First of all the staff was excellent and super friendly. My husband and I were looking forward to BBQ and this is not the place to get BBQ. We should have walked out when the waitress said they didn’t have brisket and her favorite thing on the menu was sliced beef with mushroom gravy. I replied we are here for BBQ and she said the pork is ok. Well she was right the sliced pork (didn’t taste smoked) was just ok. I ordered the beef with gravy and it was ok but not BBQ.We don’t recommend this place for BBQ.
I've went thru drive thru a few times and ordered, get all the way home just to realize some of my order is missing. It's starting to happen frequently now. Plus, the lady in drive thru has a very rude personality at times.
We live in the area and always see alot of cars in the parking lot, and online they have alot of good reviews. So, we decided to finally try it. The inside of the restaurant, definitely needs a make-over. There's no regular chairs or booths, you have to sit on hard wood benches, basically sit at picnic tables, which are VERY uncomfortable. That was the first let down. The server was not friendly, but she was efficient. We both ordered meals, and they were just okay, nothing special. We've had alot better bbq at other places in the area. We probably wouldn't come back here. Not sure why it's always so busy. ?
Ordered a Rib dinner. The sides were good and so was the bread. The ribs were disgraceful. I got 6 "ribs" about the size of my index finger. one of them was burnt black and had virtually no meat on it. What meat the other 5 ribs had was mostly fat. The cartilage ends had all been broken off. I have been eating there for several decades, but that is coming to an end. Sad!
