It seems that every time I go to Sky's Pizza it's busy here than the last time. While it's not my favorite pizza place, I must say they offer the biggest pizzas of anywhere in town. I appreciate that I was able to order online and walk in to do pick up. They also have a pretty good number of tables outside and inside if you decide to eat there. I would also recommend the wings which are very good.
Some of the best pizza I’ve had in Florida. Some of the best food I’ve had in the Pensacola area. Great atmosphere, and where can you get a 24” pie for 17 bucks? Here! Only gripe is the bleu cheese, not made in house and isn’t that great. But full on would recommend everything but their bleu cheese. ?
Sky Pizza in Pensacola Florida is one of the closest New York City style pizza we have ever had!!!! The staff was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was great! The food was great! We started our vacation and ended our vacation with great pizza!!!!
My family stopped in on the way back to the airport. We were looking for a place close to the airport to kill some time and this was only about 2 miles away. We ordered the garlic knots for an appetizer. They were delicious! We also ordered a 24” pizza. It was huge and plenty of pizza for the seven of us. The place was very busy but service was good. I would definitely recommend to anyone!
They arguably have the best pizza in town. All day my wife and I planned on going there for dinner. When we finally arrived we were told we could only sit at the bar. Can’t sit at a table or booth. We did an about face and ate at the Tuscan oven, which in my opinion is equally as good as Sky’s. And yes, we sat at a table.I’m originally from the northeast and always prefer New York style pizza. For now on if I get a pizza from Sky’s it’ll be takeout only whether they have seating or not.
Sky’s has never failed to deliver a quality pie for the wife and I. She ordered the Da Luna with extra pepperoni and it was perfect, not full of filler veggies but just enough for taste and shaved thin so they melt into the pie. Crusty has a really good chew all the way to the bone. Flavorful, yeasty , just damn good. We will be eating on this for a couple days to come. My go to pie in P-cola.
If you love NY style pizza, this would be the place to go! We (2 adult Men) got a 24" 1/2 Margharita, 1/2 City Pie. It was definitely one of the best pizza's in Pensacola!! However, we could only finish half (and we we're starving)! If you're going to order pizza I suggest you get a smaller pie - the 24" can easily feed 4 large hungry adults. For 2 drinks, an order of cheese sticks, and the pie, the bill was $40. A very fair price for the quantity and quality of the food. Waitress was excellent (attentive and upbeat)! TY Morgan! BUT, it took 37 minutes to get our pizza- a bit too long by any standard. In their defense, it was rather busy.....and did not take away from the service or excellent pie! If you haven't already, go check them out!
My wife and I planned all day to eat dinner at Sky’s. When we finally arrived nobody was there to greet us, and the bartender seemed like the only employee in sight. Booths and tables had chairs on them. When I asked where can we sit the bartender replied “at the bar only”. Not very personable by the way. My wife and I did an immediate about face and ate at the Tuscan Oven, which is just as good. And yes, we did get to sit at a table. Tuscan Oven was totally packed - Sky’s Pizza Pie was virtually empty. For now on I MAY do takeout only from Sky’s regardless if tables and booths suddenly become available. It’ll be a long time before I even do that, if ever. At this time I have no desire to do so. I like their pizza a lot but left today with a bad taste in my mouth. I will NEVER eat there again. As a side note the parking situation at their location totally sucks and always has. Probably doesn’t matter. Based on what we experienced tonight they may not be around much longer anyway.
