That Southern Hospitality is alive and well at the Shrimp Basket. Came in for a Shrimp Po Boy with that spicy tartar sauce. Food was fantastic, but the service was tremendous. Britta was a real gem and kept those cold beers coming on a real hot day. Definitely will be back soon for more.
I recently just ate at shrimp basket, the food was amazing and the manger Nicole kept coming to our table checking to make sure that we were okay. Mae was our server and she was amazing, there was also a cook that came out and gave us our food which never happened to us before. The food was amazing, it was cooked by the best cooks in the company.
Did you ever had low expectations at a restaurant and you were completely surprised by how good it all was? The servers were friendly but not intrusive, the food was exceptional and the price was surprisingly reasonable, not overpriced. Just loved it. Try the funnel cake dessert, yum!
Outstanding service by Hannah! Walked in and ordered to-go for dinner.. why?? Cause mom (me) is cooking? Hannah was professional, quick and oozed the southern hospitality that our area is known for! I would love to hire her myself!!
Because of staffing shortages, there were not many people working at the restaurant. That's fine, we were very patient but I was unfortunately having an emergency so I needed to check out very quickly. As I was standing by the counter I was able to see into the kitchen and noticed an employee handing cooked food and putting it on serving plates without wearing gloves. This was not an instance of just forgetting he wasn't wearing gloves either, he continued to do it until I calmly told my husband to stop eating and we paid and left.
The catfish and fried oysters are very delicious ?. Our server Madison was so nice and helpful. This place is worth the stop.
Fresh seafood dining. Josh was a very attentive server. My shrimp Po-Boy was EXCELLENT. The Shrimp Basket was simply decorated with outdoor seating if necessary.
The Shrimp basket on Davis Hwy was so good for lunch. We had the all you can eat popcorn shrimp and it was hot, fresh, and tasty. Service was also great. Nicole took great care of us!
We had a great lunch today at the Shrimp Basket. The waitress was nice and attentive and the Shrimp Boil was super good. My son enjoyed the kids whitefish plate. We also took time for dessert and it was very good too. I would recommend this restaurant to my friends and family.
Love Shrimp Basket! Nicest people in the world work there. Food is always good at a reasonable price. I always go out of my way to patronize this local restaurant chain!
