29$ and I got burned soggy french fries 2 burnt hush puppies 1corn nugget and the crab claws must have been cooked a few days ago,yuck!!you guys should be ashamed of yourself for sending food out like this.. of course it's take out so you don't know until you get home how it's gonna be,money should be refunded and took out of cooks pay
You must see Lizzie at shrimp basket on 9 mile road! She was awesome! She had a wonderful attitude and was very quick.
Shrinking portions - I used to eat here once a week for 6 years now. I went yesterday and asked for the usual. A large shrimp basket my wife had hers which is the popcorn shrimp. Hers was good mine only had 8 medium shrimp which were the same size of shrimp my wife had. WOW I guess I at least got a good meal for the last 6 years before the decided to skimp on the meal. Thanks Shrimp Basket you are now another tourist trap.
I’ve been working in the area for 4 months now and this location is one of my regular dining spots. Ever time I visit is an excellent visit. The manager Brittnay and her crew are very friendly and professional. I always feel welcome and the food is always prepared quick and is always good. I definitely recommend!
Our server Cole was awesome! The food was very good. The stuffed crab was delicious! I can't wait to go back!
When you want a seafood gumbo that actually taste like seafood gumbo, give me a call. What I got last night was an over seasoned mush on top of hard rice. Didn't find a single piece of shrimp, sausage, fish or any other meat in the gumbo. The Patti's restaurant on nine mile gives twice as much if not 3 times as much fish for cheaper. Really need to taste that gumbo before you sale it to the public.
What a little Gem! This restaurant was the perfect place for our family get together. Staff was so friendly and attentive, food was hot, and delicious! Atmosphere was friendly, Southern hospitality. Entire establishment looked clean, including the bathroom. Will return!!
Just left 9 mile location spent an hour and never got the 2 shrimp baskets we ordered only maybe 10 people in whole restaurant was told order didn’t transmit but had checked a few minutes earlier and it was almost ready and that it only takes a couple minutes to get. well 10 minutes later still nothing and at this point waited an hour. We did get our coke water and appetizer way earlier. Lady who claimed she was the manager charged me for my appetizer and first tried to charge me almost 24 dollars she said oh I didn’t take your baskets off and reason I didn’t get my order is because the cheese grits were frozen. Had you told me I would have substituted so anyway 7,42 and no receipt later we left. I tipped my waiter 5.00 because he was nice but we will not be back period
The food was pretty good but my Pina colada tasted like a slushy. I also ordered double seafood but compared to my husband who also ordered double seafood, i didn't see the value in mine. The crab cakes were super good though
Came in on Friday night to eat, and the place was packed! We were very hungry, but we decided to go ahead and wait, all because the smell was so enticing. I am SO glad we did. Food was overall hot and fresh, server was very kind and knowledgeable. Manager came over to check in on us, just to ensure we were enjoying everything, and she even suggested some fun things to do around town when we mentioned we were there visiting family. Cleanest restaurant I’ve been to in awhile, especially the bathrooms. Cute, little seafood place, with a “homey” feel to it. So very happy we decided to give it a try. We WILL be back, and we will absolutely be telling our friends and family about them!
