7-22-2022: I’ve heard about and seen a lot of recommendations about Sammy’s so I decided to treat myself to a burger from there. Store front is deceiving… this place is huge inside. About 6-7 high top tables; a couple family tables; about 20 bar stools, and a large area toward the back. About 8 large screen TVs. Clean and well organized. As you walk in, wall-menu is on the left and ordering nearby with couple of registers. When you order, they give you a order number to display on you table. Mine was to go so I sat near the front.I ordered the “Battle of the Bay 2020” winner and some fresh cut fries.In about 10-minutes a server brought my order to me.Food review: although appearance did not strike me well inside the styrofoam box quantity of fries were huge (they were self-steamed limp because of the container: most likely best when eaten in store). The Battle of the Bay burger was on a regular size hamburger bun which consisted of what I would guess were two 1/4 lbs patties, smoke Gouda cheese, red slaw, sweet peppers, bacon-onion jam, and Sammy sauce. This was the star of the show. A very good burger! I could not improve on the taste - it’s excellent. Well worth the trip if you crave a great burger. The only thing I believe would improve the order would be crispy fries (they don’t travel well in plastic.I would love to see this in a two 1/2 lb version.
Meh... Menu is a la carte with meal prices and the food was okay. They have a huge beer selection so I imagine that's their selling point. I got the ham and apple sandwich and it sounded so good on the menu with so much potential. The bread was soggy from the spread and was lacking on the apple slices. Flavor was alright but I definitely expected something more, even just a step up from white bread for the price. The sweet potato waffle fries were fine but I knowwww a bag of frozen waffle fries costs as much as they charge for a basket. Service was also meh, I got what I needed but I think the most genuine exchange I got was from the kitchen person that brought my food out. Overall, wouldn't bother coming back, although it is clean and well put together inside. I like that the kitchen area is open.
First time here, overall a really good experience. Got the tater tots and tacos, both amazing and well priced. The beer selection was spectacular ??
It looks good but it’s really trash. They didn’t even grill my corn tortilla LOL , and over sauced my taco like it was 50% sauce if y’all just a money grab SAY THAT I couldn’t even finish one it was so bad I would rather eat my own finger then to come back please don’t come here I’m the biggest foodie and love all types of veggies and fruits. considered the “weird” eater out of family and friends even, im telling this is not it !
Ordered to go and it took twice as long for my food as they said it would. I think they forgot I was waiting until I went back to the counter after waiting 30 minutes. So disappointed that my chicken and waffle melt is burnt and the waffles are soggy. The tater tots are super salty. My food looks thrown together and I am sad to say I spent 30+ for this food. Not a fan and this will be my first and last visit.
finally got time to try this place. nice atmosphere. food was ok except for the waffles and fries they were good. chicken was really over cooked , sausage was dry. was left sitting for long periods. will give it another on a day not so busy.
Omg so good ? my bartender was the best , he was cool as hell ! Food good ! Bottomless mimosas, bottomless brunch menu food. Good Vibe . I will be back next Sunday ! Highly recommended
They have really great hamburgers and their fries are sooo good! They have Bingo on certain nights and karaoke on other nights.Everything is cooked fresh.Staff is attentive.*I struggle to like their ketchup and I wish it tasted better as it throws off my burger to me even though it’s so good otherwise
Do Not Eat Here!! I wish I could give a worse rating. First time here, placed order at 1245...long story short its 115 and I still haven't gotten my food. Just a freaking cheese steak. I asked about my food and was told "Oh. Sorry".... Customer service sucks, im sure the food is just as bad......Kent Vancil I was greatly disappointed. The menu looks amazing, but sadly I cannot comment on the food because I was never served. It's funny because when I walked in, I didn't know what to do. The person behind the counter said you can order right here for faster service or just grab a seat and someone will come o you. So I ordered right there and sat at the bar,30 to 35 minutes later still no food or even a greeting. Finally got the nerve to ask about my food and...."Oh, Sorry"
The chicken and waffle sandwich was $9.99 and didn't come with fries. Fries were an extra $5.99?? My plate was barren, the sandwich was smaller than I expected. The sandwich it's self was dry, tough, and the chicken was chewy there was no sauce on it at all as advertised. My experience was overall very disappointing. I paid $16 for a small dry chicken sandwich... My friend ordered a side of fries and they didn't have any salt on them.
