Everything was delicious! The Brussels small plate and the jam burger are crave worthy. The duck fat fries and sauce yummy! Definitely will return!!!
The brunch was delicious! We had to wait 45 minutes for two people but made it worth while at the bar ☕️?I think they're short staffed since it really wasn't that busy. Overall ther service was great! Friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere ?
Really disappointing. Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. The waitress was wonderful, but the kitchen took an hour to prepare our food. Kiddo ordered breakfast off of the kids menu (egg, bacon, and potatoes). The potatoes were so covered in red pepper that even I couldn't eat them. They burned so much that I had to order her a milk to keep her from crying. The bacon jam burger was just a burger on a questionable bun slathered in goat cheese so thick it was impossible to taste anything else. Fried green tomatoes were the only thing that really salvaged the meal, they were delicious. All in all, there are much better places to have a two hour lunch.
This was the first time at Polonza. The dinner was fantastic! The small plates were the perfect size for sharing. The duck fat fries had an amazing texture and flavor. The crispness was a welcome surprise with no greasy feel; topped with finely grated cheese and green onion. We also shared the kale salad which tasted like it was just picked fresh from the garden and the mind blowing Chicken Marsala. We could have stopped there there but also had the jerk chicken, braised rib and fresh catch. This was by far the best meal in the area last year. Nick was an attentive waiter and the drinks we top notch.
we stopped here for breakfast / brunch on a Monday morning. The service is very slow - cheerful folks but they were stretched thin. I had the Toad in the Hole which was quite good, my son had the Avacado toast and my wife had the black bean burger. good sized portions and tasty food.
I had the Toad in the Hole and a mocha and both were excellent! Our wait was only around 20 minutes at 11:30 on a Sunday brunch, so very reasonable for a table of 4.
Last night in Pensacola, so we decided to check out this little place just down the block from our hotel. We had made reservations and glad we did since the place was hopping. We started off with the boiled peanuts small plate. The peanuts were boiled in collard green pot likker, which gave them an interesting and spicy taste. Very southern! My drink from the bar was excellent. For an entrée, I had the Gulf Catch which was Golden Tilefish over homemade pappardelle with an excellent sauce. The fish was a large portion and cooked perfectly. Very tasty. My wife had two small plates, the kale salad and chicken marsala. I tasted both and they were also excellent. Excellent service despite being obviously short staff and a very busy restaurant. Very good value on the food and bar! Will definitely eat here again on our next visit to Pensacola. Highly recommend.
Not sure if I will return any time soon. Service and food were lacking. Maybe it was just an off day? I hope so.
Really disappointed in their breakfast break. Several times have gone there prior to 10:20 which is when they go to lunch menu. Sometimes as early as 10:10 & they won’t serve breakfast. If you stop taking orders at 10:10 or 10:15 then that should be the cutoff time posted. We drive quite a ways to make it & then get sat down ready to order & its lunch only. This last time it wasn’t even 10:20 when we got back to the car. Place was almost empty. First time we had our drinks etc &!then we’re told it’s almost 10:20 you have to order lunch. Today was the 4th time and will be the last. Food is good. Servers are good, but management needs to reevaluate.
One of the best casual restaurants I have ever dined at. Menu is very unique. Chef accommodates each diners food palate and dietary restrictions. Servers are attentive. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed. Great for families with kids.Food 5⭐️Service 2??Location ?
