This is the definition of a "hole in the wall." Very unassuming building, a locked security door that had to be unlocked before I could come in, and an odd interior for a restaurant. What I ended up with was one of the best porkchop dinners I have ever had. The sides of greens and mac and cheese were also made perfectly. Of everything that was so good, this man has sweet tea down to a science. I will be going back for lunch as often as I can, and will bring a 5 gallon bucket I hope I can pay him enough to fill full of that tea!
Don't think this place is even open. Been driving by this place for month and Google says it's open and it's not.
Ribs were tasty but went for barbecue pig feet. They were out of pig feet. ?

I've been over pleased a out the food I've purchased from Phil's. CantCfind anything wrong he and his mother cooks with love.
I called Phil and asked about his ribs on voicemail - he called me back and we talked. We worked something out and I drove by for pickup, zero effort on my part. Phil met me at the front door with my order immediately. Got home to an incredibly tender and flavorful batch of ribs (zesty style). My wife couldn’t help but ask for some (there was a lot) and even she, who really doesn’t care for ribs, was over the moon about how tender and flavorful they are.I wish I had asked about the sides (I didn’t) but based on the BBQ ribs I can tell you that this is truly genuine southern barbecue and I’ll go back again and again.
