Website about close time is wrong, called at 11 but they were closed so don't think they stay open til twelve, also the food is very inconsistent, sometimes it's great sometimes we have just literally wasted nearly whole pizzas. Will never order here again, too many other decent or better pizza places around. And domino's knows how to change their hours on Google maps , huge bonus.
Tonight we placed an order online and received a call that they didn’t have delivery drivers so we’re going to be canceling our order. After speaking to my wife as we are traveling from out of town we decided to call back to see if we could pick it up and was told that they are not able to open their doors but also could not deliver to us yet their hours are posted until 1 AM this makes no sense and is extremely disappointing lost business over unwillingness to serve come to find out they have drivers just not enough for our order. But with all these bad reviews why am I not surprised ??♂️papa John’s use to be amazing what happened?
Pizza came lukewarm and had slivers of toppings. Honestly laughable.With tax and delivery fee, I bought a $33 cheese pizza, because I couldn’t even detect the toppings.And don’t think for a second that you’re getting anything close to NY style like they advertise.
This store has no hope. Jene was a great manager but new management is horrible. The problems with this store is endless.Managers cancel orders when they dont feel like making them, especially late at night, and then claim they dont know how it got canceled. If youre lucky theyll call you and lie to you about not having a driver or claim the oven is broken. They just dont want to make it.Expired products are servered regularly here due to poor training and poor management. My best advice is dont order when Eli is working because he purposely serves expired dough claiming "it doesnt taste any different". But if we are being honest all the managers are incompetent. They treat customers as an inconvenience and do not have any regards to their needs or accommodations. If you request CLEAN CUT for any reason, even religious, they will not do it.They knowingly send out cold food and wrong orders, and when you call back just ask for a refund. They will claim they can credit it or remake it, just get your money back. Theyll have to refund the entire amount and lets be honest, the remake or credit will always be cold and wrong, if you even get it. I tried reporting all this to higher management and they didnt care. They said as long as the food goes out then they dont care.Also, if you order delivery your order is made almost immediately and then sits on a warming rack for and hour or two. Your safest option if youre willing to risk food poisoning from this location, it to just do carryout.
It Took 2 hours to deliver my pizza when they finally arrived it was door dash because they don’t have any delivery drivers. My pizza was cold & made incorrectly. I called the next day Sunday to inform them the manager said no problem took my information and told me to come in for a remake. I called in Wednesday for the remake order. The manager Darren basically accused me of trying to get a free meal saying “didn’t you already have this order remade”. I haven’t been to papa johns in years because of the owners racist remarks involving blacks & the NFL. The only reason I shopped there because domino’s wasn’t delivering at the time. That was a huge mistake I’d rather starve than spend another penny there!
Two inches of CRUST is NOT pizza!
I would never order from this papa john again on 9 mile they are rude and get ur order wrong than blame it a call center and still charge and will not send ur food and you have to keep calling arguing with them
I ordered food, waited 90 minutes, and then they cancelled my order as the app said it was supposed to be arriving with no notice, reason, or contact. Absolutely terrible experience. I would not order from them again or give them my money. Horrible customer service.
Ordered a pizza and have been waiting two hours for it to be delivered. After calling the store and failing to reach them multiple times I go outside to find that my pizza has been delivered and no one rang the doorbell or knocked, This is the second time this has happened, it’s just ridiculous that you can take someone’s money and do this. Thanks for the cold pizza.
Not very clean. Waited for my curbside pickup and actually cancelled my order after observing them for 15 minutes. First, the guy putting the pizza boxes together kept touching his hat and playing with his hair. And, the girl preparing the dough was not wearing gloves and then touching her face and glasses. Disgusting and unsanitary. I drove out of my way to 9th avenues location instead. Please teach your employees proper food handling.
