Umm??? I ordered a Chipotle Chicken Avocado Melt and the sandwich literally only had the chicken???? No Chipotle sauce, no avocado, no cheese, no red peppers, no cilantro. Literally only topping was pickled onions which I had added (but not the cucumber???)Drive thru took me 25 minutes when I was the only vehicle. Had to BEEP to get my food after hadn’t seen anyone for 10 minutes. I totally understand when busy things happen, but there was no other customers.
So I’m usually not a fan of places like this and for good reason. This Panera Bread is a dump. My grilled macaroni and cheese sandwich was literally cold while the outside was barely warm. The tomato soup was warm and very acidic. The tables were very, very dirty. They have food on them and we’re very sticky. The woman at the register was the ONLY reason this place got 2 stars. Avoid this place at all cost unless you want the day after to be filled with molten diarrhea.
I would give this place 0 stars if it were an option. Do not come through this drive through if you don't want to wait an hour or longer for your food. On 06/03/22, we entered the drive-through around 6:20pm. We were waiting forever and not moving (there were also only 4 other cars in front of us). An hour later (at 7:18pm) we finally made it to the window. I politely asked the woman at the window what was causing such a delay - she was very unapologetic and said "we're short staffed." I responded by asking her to simply tell her manager that it's unacceptable to expect people to wait that long without warning. All she said was "okay." No apology, no nothing. I understand all businesses are struggling for employees right now, but if the drive through line is going to take 1 hour +...let people know so they aren't stuck for an hour. Don't assume people are willing to wait. And if something unpredictable happens that causes an extreme delay...at least apologize. Some of the worst customer service I've experienced.
Ordered ~$68 at lunch for a handful of people, three of the items were soup in a bread bowl. Picked up the order and it had the two sandwiches ordered, a salad, couple drinks, it had the bread bowls for the soup, but missing the three soup containers that go in the bread bowls. When an item or so is missing I would not think much of it, but when HALF the order is missing I have cause for concern. I will admit the bags should have been checked but, I sent a runner and I honestly expect when I pay for a item or service for it to be done without the need to go behind and do the job they were paid to do. I really appreciate that after an almost ten minute drive back, passing out food, realizing and double checking for missing items, then ten minute drive back, NO ONE from the store noticed the three containers of soup sitting around and thought to call and be proactive and take care of a customer, I know you have my email and I know you have my phone number. I have never been a fan of Panera in the first place but this was the nail in the coffin. Panera has lost my business for good.
The food was delicious and I enjoyed the variety of the menu..I felt uncomfortable at the checkout when the debit card transaction prompted me to tip the cashier. There was also a tip tray with a handwritten note requesting tips.Isn't a tip supposed to be for service? This is a self-serve coffee shop. I order my own food....I pick up my own food from the kitchen.... I bus and clean my own table when I am finished....Clearly, a coffee shop that charges $3 for a small cup of coffee and is obscenely profitable can afford to pay a fair wage to their cashiers and need not impose upon their customers to meet their own payroll.Corporate welfare is not an attractive business model.
I wish management would train the staff properly. Margarita pizza has basil on it not cilantro. Good grief. This has happened 2 times.Corrected 2nd time and they put no basil on it again. Please for the love of God learn what ingredients go on what. Staff very friendly, Just not being trained.
Service is always super slow. Food is standard and typically tastes good, but no quickness or need to take care of end users. Last trip waited 45 minutes in the drive through for a salad with no protein. Super frustrating as there is no way to get out once in drive through lane.
7 times in the past few weeks my order has been incorrect. I now have to go inside to pick up my order and confront the staff that "assembles" orders. Yet, they continue to mess up orders. I write this review to bring awareness to your teams carelessness.Today - added ingredients I didn't requestYesterday- no tortilla stripsThe day before- no tortilla stripsThe day before- bread missingSo on and so forthThey're not cooking anything or doing math....assembling orders is not that hard...I hope to one day to order outside pick up knowing that my order will be correct. For now I'll continue to order inside and correct your team.
This is by far the worst Panera location of the many dozens we've visited. Unfortunately for us, it's the closest to home. If you order online for Rapid Pickup, your order will be ready 30 minutes *after* the specified pickup time. Also, if you order more than one meal, your bag will be missing items, guaranteed. Moreover, this location is often "sold out" of basic breads, which is ironic given that "Panera" is literally a bread basket by definition. And check out the attached photo of an Asian Sesame Chicken Salad that we ordered; it's a mound of romaine lettuce and wonton strips... AND NOTHING ELSE. If you're craving Panera, do yourself a favor and uncrave yourself, and head to Newk's across the intersection instead.
as someone who works in the food industry i understand how stressful it can be sometimes. however my experience could’ve been handled more professional. i originally ordered curb side pick up and there were no parking spots available. i changed to pick up in cafe instead. i realized i ordered twice so i asked a staff member for help and she was nice and let a manager know. the manager raised her voice at me telling me that her worker is outside “probably looking for me”. side note i have done curb side in the past and in the app you let them know which parking spot you’re in, which i did not today since i changed to pick up. instead of fixing it and giving me my money back she proceeds to tell me all of this. whenever the worker comes back inside with my food, she slammed the bag in front of my face on the counter. i apologized and thanked her anyway. the male manager was quick to ask me which order i needed to cancel and he fixed it right away. however the female manager and the worker that slammed the order on the counter had no business doing what they did.
