I had been told by friends that this place was awesome and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! Our server Michelle told us she was new. This was only her like second week. You could not tell. She handled our table of seven LIKE A PRO! She never missed a drink request, a refill, she handled the people in our group with dietary restrictions. She was wonderful. Now on to the mouth watering, fantastic, absolutely amazing FOOD! The prime rib was so tender and came with freshly roasted garlic. You would not have even need teeth to chew it was so good. The cedar plank salmon, perfection. If you're in the area, THIS IS A MUST GO kind of place.
First time visiting McGuire Irish Pub and we were absolutely thrilled with our visit. The restaurant is lively, warm and inviting. The food is amazing! I honestly don't think there is anything on the menu that you could dislike. No matter what you order the portions are very large so bring your appetite!! The Irish soda bread is so good. We ordered the Irish boxtys, the Reuben egg rolls and the Irish cockels and mussels. Our entrees were corned beef and cabbage and the Irish Steak and mushroom pie.The staff is friendly and on point. The restaurant is super clean as are the bathrooms. Word of warning make sure you go in the correct bathroom!!
McGuire's continues to serve great food, and service, at great prices. Love this place. Go early, before 4 pm, to get a good parking spot since this is a very popular place. Loved the fish and chips and hot brownie with ice cream and chocolate syrup. Reuben egg roll appetizer was super delicious. Love the pub style environment. A definite return trip is in order and a must place to see when in Pensacola. Steaks are also very good here.
Met with a group of friends today. Most all of us had the Fish & Chips, and all tried the bean soup. We tried several of their draft beers, and loved them all. The food was wonderful, but I'd say the highlight was the service. Stewart kept everything coming and was a total pro.
As a local Pensacolian I can honestly say this is my favorite place! Shout out to our server, Jeanine, for being the absolute best! 10/10 would recommend every time!!!
We had a party of 14, we got sat in the Blue Angels room. The food was AMAZING, we have a whole variety of things and everybody shared their dishes. Our waiter Scott was so patient and fast! He got through all of us efficiently and made sure we were good. We love coming here when we are on vacation. 10/10
Great food and service!!! Hats off to Valerie our waitress. She did a fantastic job! I got a root beer which they brew in house and an amazing burger. Both of them were delicious. The burgers there are huge and big enough to split.
If you're looking for an Irish Pub with fantastic food, service and decor, this is it! Angela was our server, and she was amazing! We had the Irish Lamb Stew and the Shepherd's Pie, and both were to die for. The servings were far more than we could handle. They also bring a delicious bread to the table before you get your entree, so be careful not to fill up on that! If we're ever in Pensacola again, we're definitely going back.
The Irish Wakes are amazing drinks and the Fried Mashed Potato Balls with 3 different sauces are very filling. I also tried one of the traditional dishes "Bangers and mash" which are sausages and mashed potatoes with peas.... So good!!!
Authentic Irish pub! When you go, I hope you get Stewart as you waiter as he was very helpful, gave great advice, was very attentive to our wishes and helped up hang our 1st dollar. I had the steak and mushroom pie which seemed to never end. (It was as if Jesus was feeding the 5 thousand!) My wife, I can call her that now, we JUST got married, had the fish and chips which she too, thoroughly enjoyed. The lasses in the gift shop were so very kind and helpful too! Enjoyed the experience, atmosphere and food immensely!!!
