This place is absolutely amazing. Authentic! So, obviously Taco Bell isn't real.... And although the "dishes" at regular Mexican restaurants are real, the type and quality at Mexican restaurants are not what they would taste like outside of the US.Mexican places get 90% of their products from American based companies.... = Not too authentic!Then, there's this place...... You want real Mexican food? You want the experience? You want the right food, right dishes? Come here! Walk out of America, walk in the doors of Mexico! This place is legit!Parking: Ample parking.... Normally busy, which means closer parking available after lunch, prior to "normal dinner hours"... Prime time parking 4pm - 6pm.***Please leave parking spots open in/near front for those who may be challenged to make it safely from the car to restaurant. **If your legs work, at all, try to use them.
So we saw a couple reviews about the Birria tacos so we came down to see what the fuss was all about. Wow, what incredible tacos. Slightly deep fried with stewed beef and mozzarella cheese and a big cup of dipping sauce. It was a Mexican take on a debris sandwich you’d find in New Orleans. The pickled jalapeños and carrots were a great addition.They need to advertise this jewel and take some of the customers from the joint down the street. Thanks to the cooks at Lupita’s for great dinner, we’ll be back with friends.
So let’s start off by saying I’m Mexican and grew up around Mexican cooking. I just moved here and have been looking for some real good Mexican food. Luckily, I found this place because it is no joke! Seriously impressed with this place, my husband and I fell in love with their birria tacos. So much flavor and great seasoning 10/10. Service is also really good.
All I can say is AMAZING! I’ve been twice and gotten the Birria tacos both times. They are literal heaven and taste amazing. By far the best authentic Mexican food I’ve eaten. Their drinks are also tasty. Nothing you’ll see at normal Mexican restaurant chain.
A whole lot of delicousness. Lupitas was located right outside of my hotel window and had a line forming all the time. I was determined to try their food and I was not disappointed. I was lucky to get their birria taco only served on certain days. I think it was on a Wednesday. The California burrito was yummy and loved their red sauce. It’s very very spicy to give a fair warning. Definitely will be back for some more tacos.
We went here for the first time and let me tell you I had the birria tacos and they were absolutely amazing very authentic.This is a LOCAL hidden gem.
I decided to go here due to the great reviews, but once my husband and I got here, things did not align. The cashier was friendly and he helped us order our food because this was our first time here. I got the birria tacos and my husband got a chicken quesadilla. Everything looked great, but that was misleading. The first bite tasted like nothing then the food began to taste like cardboard. There was no flavor in the food at all and I was quite disappointed. It was quite slow so I was shocked our food came out so bland.
One of the, if not the, only places in town I even go to anymore; nowhere else I can say I've gone to get dinner every day, and at the minimum, at least 4 to 5 nights a week. For weeks and weeks at a time. Seriously. Their food is absolutely great.I order the tacos deluxe with campechano or the dipping tacos with steak.
The food was not bad but I’ve had better. We only gave this place a chance cause our usual spot at the next business over was closed today. We ordered seven tacos and only got two sauces and two limes for the whole order and barely any cilantro. Why skimp on sauces and herbs?? This place seems to only have one kind of sauce for tacos- I don’t know if they were just out today or if they really just only have one sauce regularly. There’s usually two different sauces everywhere else I go. We won’t be back altogether. We did stop by the other food truck right next to Lupita’s who sells pina colada and other desserts that were really delicious!!!! Recommend the corn in a cup
This place is wack! They are rude and rushed our order. The tortillas taste weird not natural or homemade plus, they cooked them wrong because everything fell out of the taco when I picked it up. Not to mention, my third taco hardly had any meat. Then, they dont understand english hardly. I would have given them no stars if possible. Never again!!! Only people that know good Mexican food will understand authentic mexican food passion!!! Gaur gum tortillia!!! Throw up!!!
