My family and I were craving some good Asian food and Khon’s had a unique blend of several cuisines. We had an equally great time enjoying the food as we did talking to Chef Dot. My family and I received such a warm welcome from him and loved hearing his stories. The hot chili shrimp, crab rangoons, pork belly cha, and tempura fried banana were delicious - we’ll be back again to try more dishes. ??

1st time visit here today: Outstanding menu. Something for every palate: sushi, stir-fry, salads, vegan. Seaweed Salad is my favorite. 90% os seating 2-top tables -or- barstools. Only 2 total booths in small restaurant. The intimate corner booth we wanted at 4pm was "reserved," so we were given the booth in the flow of traffic to bar & kitchen. Therefore, I gave 4-stars instead of 5-stars. Food was fantastic, seating was awkward for 3 of us.

Coming from a family of chefs that worked the Biltmore I look for quality, fresh, attractive food with added depth of flavor to their dishes in a clean and attractive environment and Khon's has all of that, and friendly staff in a vibrant setting. The warm sake was warm, soothing and mildly fruity, soups, salads, and sushi were fresh, colorful and flavorful. This is "a gem of a little restaurant" in downtown Pensacola and I will be definitely coming back for more.

Super atmosphere and the waitress what is awesome, we had some sake and Miso soap along with to dinner n Sushi everything was delicious and got to our table piping hot thank you so 4 a great experience. Al bee sure to pass on the word to my friends. Take care

My fiance and I dined here a few days ago and the food blew our expectations way out of the water! The atmosphere was great, and Jason, our host/server was spectacular! He was very friendly, very down to earth and super helpful with menu choices and recommendations! We will definitely be back!

Took my wife out for a date night and chose Khon’s since we have walked by a few times and never went in. The place was small but the ambience seemed okay as we entered about an hour prior to closing. At first, we sat at the bar as there were no tables available. The bartender seemed decent although she took awhile to see what we wanted food or drinks. My wife asked the hostess whom I assume was the manager if we could take one of the tables that became available. She did but seemed like it was an inconvenience. Once we sat, the waitress came over and asked about our drinks and we let her know we were ready to order. Once ordered, we waited awhile for the food but was not too concerned with the wait since we were talking and trying to enjoy the evening. My wife noticed a plate sitting at the end of the bar that looked like what I ordered and after about 5-7 minutes the waitress brought it over and my wife noticed the food she was given was not what she ordered. This is where everything goes wrong!!!! She informed the waitress who then apologizes and said she didn’t write the order down and put in the wrong meal. She said it would be about 10 minutes before the correct dish would come out but left my food sitting in front of me as if I would eat alone during my date with my wife. My wife then stopped the hostess as she walked by and explained my food was cold and I did not want it and would not eat while my wife sat at the table waiting for her food to come out. Rather than apologize and resolve the matter, she said she would get the waitress. Once the waitress came out, she rushed my wife’s food to the table which tasted like burned skillet. I informed the waitress my food was cold and I did not want it. She then said she would give a credit to the bill for our inconvenience. After walking off, she returned with the hostess who I assume was the manager and said they would take off the dumplings for the inconvenience and charge 50% for my food that I didn’t eat. I enforced her I would not pay for my food because I never ate it and it needed to be removed from the bill also. When she returned, she had put the dumplings back on the bill and removed my food. I brought it to her attention and she said it’s because Tammy wife packed up the dumplings to go. I said, you told her they were free before you had to take off my plate. She then began to argue and act irate as I decided to not deal with the treatment as if I were complaining to get a free meal. As the only black couple in the building , it was embarrassing to be treated with such disrespect when I watched the staff go above and beyond for everyone else (non black). Then, when she handed my check, I reiterated how badly she handled the situation and she began to bend over and yell at my putting her hands in my face while I was trying to sign the check I should not have had to pay. This all stemmed from an error made by a waitress and a hostess/manager who’s unwilling to resolve a matter by doing the right thing. My wife had to tell this lady numerous times to get out my face as I ignored her attempt to escalate the situation. Then, she threatened to call the police on my at which time I told her GO AHEAD! She then said “GET THE F*ck OUT MY RESTAURANT”. Do I think this would have happened if I were not black… NO! I think the error may have happened but we would not have been talked to this way or treated with such lack of respect of class. I am a business professional trying to enjoy an evening with my wife and this place clearly doesn’t have an interest in serving a diverse crowd. I paid $36.01 for utter disrespect. I will never go here again or recommend this place to my worse enemy.

I highly recommend!! Delicious freshly made Asian food! Authenticity ?? Please some here. Its such a vibe and nice bar area!

We ordered a cocktail (mediocre), some sashimi, and two sushi rolls. Sashimi was excellent, sushi was average and we waited almost an hour (post lunch rush) to get the sushi rolls. One of the employees making sushi rolls was not wearing gloves. Paid over $50 for the experience. Will not be back.

Very pleasant Asian fusion food. Good staff. A little pricey but high quality. You get what you pay for. Great spot this palette

Honestly one of the best Thai places I've visited. The pork dumplings were made really well and the presentation of our food was very nice. It's a small but cozy bar, and it seems to be a good place for sushi as well. Highly recommend!
