I read the reviews while waiting for my meal. Negative reviews must have personal grievances. Food arrived quickly and tasted great (missing the roach leg special), service from the black-haired server was excellent, and the prices were fair. The store is very clean. There was a table of men having a discussion - very entertaining. Turns out they're regulars - all said they would be back tomorrow.
Friendly waitress. Stopped in for first time for breakfast. Standard home cooking breakfast. Hubs had two eggs, hash browns, toast and coffee. I had 1/2 order biscuits and gravy (one sliced biscuit). Biscuit light and fluffy, gravy thick and just a tad spicy and thick. Good.2022 Update: Great waitress. Wonderful and fresh RW&B salad with homemade ranch dressing. Beef tips were also good. Got a coconut pie and pineapple upside down cake to take home. Can’t wait!
Not impressed.blamed responsibility on Door dash for sending the wrong order but Waitresses must check any bag that leaves the store to insure accuracy.But no problem I get my order resent free of charge. But I notice taste wise food was very bland. I asked for orange juice never received it. I ordered 3 slices of cheese only received one. Biscuit was very dry. Not soft and fluffy .which I’m sure is subjective to everyone’s own preference so disregard this as a deterrent. But I over all i was not impressed at all. I only have 2 Stars because they manager re delivered the order himself.I’ll probably return to try their lunch menu before I give a final verdict
Came for a work Christmas dinner. Food was great. Gonna have to come back for breakfast sometime.

This is my absolute favorite restaurant! The food is always fantastic, no matter what I order, I am always happy with my meal! April & Haley are great and always efficient, happy and polite. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Karen’s to anyone looking for somewhere GREAT to eat in Pensacola!
Karen's Cafe is known for their home cooking and their tasty, variety of food.Also, you won't be there long before you notice it's a gathering place for lots of home grown Pensacolians. Everyone seems to know everyone else in Karen's Cafe. I will definitely be back, and you should give it a try, if you have never been. It will soon become your go to spot as well.
Karen’s is a true gem in the Pensacola community, and our first visit today was a joy. The customer service was fast, hospitable, and consistent, the dishes were prepared and served quickly and were absolutely delicious, and everything tasted home made. The inside of the restaurant was clean and you could see it was well kept. We enjoyed a grilled pork chop, sweet potato casserole, cornbread, and green beans for one meal, and a delicious bacon cheeseburger and side salad for the other. The specials come with two sides and you will see they all sound wonderful, and there was a bunch of home cooked desserts available up front. A must try restaurant. Note, they are only open Monday thru Friday for breakfast and lunch. An easy five stars.
