If you haven’t been to Joe Patti’s, what are you even doing with your life? They have the best selection of fresh seafood anywhere. They also have gumbo and other goodies. When we visit Pensacola, we gotta go see Joe. Periodt.
WOW! This place runs like a fine tuned machine! The place is always busy, but they have plenty of staff to keep things moving. When we got there our number was 60 and they had just called 30. We waited less than 10 minutes probably, just long enough to walk around and pick up a few more items. The selection is outstanding. There is a deli that has some salad type stuff so I picked up 2 dozen stuffed grape leaves, and would you believe they were only $5.80 per dozen or $.49 each! They were so stinking good too. I was visiting from out of town for my Mom's birthday but I go back on my next visit as well. You guy's are killing it! Thank you for helping to make a great day!P.s. the price of all their seafood was really good!
Joe Patti's has seafood for everyone. We purchased some seasoned crawfish on our vacation and they were excellent.
This visit to the Panhandle I went to Joe Patti's three times and the rest of our group went at least once. This is the place to go to buy fresh seafood. The variety is enormous, the service is extremely efficient. There are also large selections of frozen prepared Cajun and seafood related foods and house-made sauces and dips. The deli/grocery is nice, but seafood is the real deal. (Unfortunately the sushi bar was closed.) If you don't know what you want, check the counters before you take a number. If you've been before, you know what to do!
I really like coming here for the variety of seafood and great deli foods. Can’t beat this place for the shrimp available. You can make a whole meal in here but you better be ready to shell out the cash. Whole red snapper is going for $10 a lbs. Was in yesterday and just about everything has been marked up in price. I guess we all know why that is. Old man Patti’s harassment of his employees is starting to get a little old, he’s actually starting to cuss at them. He’s lucky he has any employees at all. Might be time to sit him on the dock and let him watch the sun go down. Hopefully there’s someone in the family that’s ready to step up and take the reigns.
It is a very popular market for locals and tourists. Local products (shrimps and fish) are cheaper than grocery stores. They have any kind of fresh shrimp you want. With heads, without, peeled, cooked.The market has other things beside seafood to complete a great meal. Seasoning, garnish, cheese, wine....Tip is to come to market early. Before noon so the shrimps won't be sitting in the water for too long.
Came here for the first time on my first time to Pensacola beach, I let everyone know that I was new and everyone was so kind! I never got the staff name that helped me but she was very nice. Even explained the shrimp types and where they came from. I wish I lived here, I'd be back on the weekly!! 10/10Edited:: was so excited to try the grouper when I got home and I'm no fish expert but fairly confident it had a large parasite on it. Now I'm unsure if my entire 150$ purchase is trashed.
My favorite place for fish. Great staff. Very busy all the time. Great selection of fresh fish. Deli area is really nice, too. Prices are good.
Best seafood market ever! Joe Patti Seafood Company is our first stop when we get to Pensacola and our last stop on the way out of town, to fill the cooler with all we can fit. Gulf grouper, Caribbean grouper, flounder, pompano, shrimp, cheeks & throats, frog legs are some of our favorites. Their house made remoulade is wonderful on everything! Service is great, so don't be intimidated if you walk into a full market. You will have just enough time to scout out your choices by the time your number is called.
The food was delicious. I had the Boss Swai for the first time and it was white flakey and tasty as hell. The service was really great. Our server accommodated all our needs in a very timely fashion.
