Good Lord !!! This place is a Pensacola landmark and does not disappoint til this day … under new ownership with tried and true recipes … my fave is the fried mullet dinner with four pieces of mullet , hush puppies , coleslaw , tartar and fries if you wish !! All for around 15.99!! Reasonable seafood and excellent burgers , fried chicken and chicken livers and gizzards for those who love them … down home service with a smile!!
Nice little restaurant. Bugers were pretty good, but the Onion Rings stole the show. Staff were great, very friendly and professional. Did not have to wait very long for the food to be brought out.
Very popular local restaurant that has been around for years and years. Good local flavor and menu. The food is very good.
We stopped here for dinner and was seated promptly. You get a menu decide what you want then go up to the counter to order. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I had the bacon cheeseburger and fries. My husband had the shrimp and fish (Grouper) platter with coleslaw and fries. Both our food was plentiful, hot and good.
Meatloaf was very dense with not much flavor. Standard mashed potatoes. Chicken livers were good. Lettuce is salad looked old. Lima beans were probably the best food item. The waitresses are the best.
The food was still very good. Customer service was OK. The new way of ordering b4 you pick your table & paying at the same spot, after your meal, makes for chaos, confusion and a back log of ppl. Especially when they are busy. (I understand about the employee shortage, but there has got to be a better way!).
Most disappointing forty dollar meal. This isn't the first time we have eaten there. We usually enjoy coming here however this will be the last time.Asked for no ice in the water, only lettuce and cheese on a sandwich both came out incorrectly. The fish chowder was watery and when it went back to the kitchen the staff laughed about it we could hear from the dinning room.My daughter even said her BLT did not taste right at all.Your business has gone down hill.Very disappointing.
The people were nice, but the food was not good at all. Over rated. Don’t go here. Way better diners to go to. Save your money
Our first time here was on a Friday afternoon for lunch. It was very child friendly and the food was delicious. You are expected to seat yourself and order up front. There are very large booths, myself, husband, and our four kids sat in a booth with room for 1 or 2 more. We got a little bit of everything and the fish and cheese curds were our favorite.
Great service, delicious food! Jerry’s sauce is amazing! Thanks for the awesome experience!
