Just left a few moments ago. First time customer. Loved the food and atmosphere. The chicken teriyaki and spring rolls were very flavorful. Good portion size too. Very fulfilling :) One of my new fave spots in town.
Excellent food, wait time was a little long but they were filling orders left and right, despite the rush they took the time to ask how things were going..., great staff, great food, just remember they are filling a lot of to go orders so unless you order on the way, expect about a ten to fifteen minute wait. Well worth it. ☆☆☆☆☆
I really love eating here. The food is soo good and they offer such a large variety of Asian dishes. I especially love getting their takoyaki as a side to one of their many sushi rolls. I then wash that down with one of their delicious boba teas.
I was really excited to try this place because the reviews and photos of the food are great. Unfortunately, we didn't find our experience aligned with other reviews.Website menu: would not load so it was hard to preview the menu before going to the shop. Don't know if their website was having an off day or what, but anytime I tried to open the menu to enlarge it, it wouldn't load. Not-so-fun fact: their menu is also not on their Facebook page.Location: location was fine. There are some other coffee places and restaurants nearby. Kind of regret not trying those instead.Food: Pretty to look at. The bento boxes look very impressive and I was even more excited to get mine after seeing another customer with one. I ordered the teriyaki tofu bento. I don't know what sauce was on the tofu but it couldn't have been teriyaki. I kept getting such sweet notes from it, very orangey tasting with minimal soy flavor. Honestly, I couldn't help thinking of the saucy bit in a peach pie - it was oddly congealed like a fruit pie gets. I didn't try the seaweed salad because in prepping the meal, that sauce was also over the seaweed salad. Those are usually rehydrated anyway so I don't think I missed much there. There was a pickled cucumber side, which I think is supposed to be sort of like a cucumber kimchi but it was a sweet pickle. No spice to it at all and the sugar flavor was much stronger than the vinegar taste of the pickles. Just not really good. The rice was great and I'm thankful the meal came with two scoops because that's about all I ate of it.Boyfriend got the Korean BBQ bowl, minus the avacado. It was essentially bibimbap but they don't have gochujang, only Sriracha. He felt similarly about the cucumber pickles in the dish and the kimchi was more of a white kimchi. No real spice. We also ordered the dumplings - I forget what they were called - jiaozi? I thought surely those couldn't be bad. They were pretty basic. No seasoning at all.And service. The girl that took our order could not have been less engaged. She asked if we wanted to order and when we said we needed a moment with the menu, she just sat down and started playing on her phone. No excitement for the restaurant, no offers of suggestions or questions to be answered if we had any, nothing beyond taking our order whenever we decided we might be ready. Though after our experience with the food, I guess I understand the lack of enthusiasm. And cleanliness - the floor was sticky with every step we made and the tables were pretty dirty too. We both commented on how they seemed busy with to-go orders and we're surprised the tables and floors were as dirty and sticky as they were. Will def not be back to this one. The food was just atrocious.
Food is “eh” and every time I order it takes forever. I get making food fresh but it would be nice if I got an accurate quote on time. I’ve waited 25 minutes over when they said my food would be ready. A total of 45 minutes waiting total. If I knew it was going to take so long I could have made better use of my time. And this happens every. Single. Time.
Spam poke bowl was so good! Still dreaming about it a week later . I will definitely come by again and get one next time I’m in town.
I normally dont leave reviews but i fell in love. The sushi was amazing, the bento box, the popcorn chicken and the boba! The vibes were chill and relaxing. 10/10 recommend. Will definitely come back in the future!
This is my new favorite place! The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious! Really enjoyed the chill atmosphere and how nice the employees were. Will definitely be recommending this spot to everyone.
Huge let down, wanted to try a new place and this one had great reviews, ordered a teriyaki chicken bento box and they only gave me like a quarter of a flat chicken breast it wasn't even enough food for a child, just 4 really thin (like 1 inch long max, and 1/4in thick) small cuts of chicken doused in sauce on a huge bed of onion. Finished that in two bites, and im not a big dude. The flayed shrimp on rice sashimi was rubbery and the tempura was only okay. We don't live far from here, and the raw fish was room temp and everything else was cold by the time we got it home so I assume it was sitting for a while before they handed it to us to go.Pretty disappointed considering how expensive they were and that they don't offer as much as other bento boxes do overall anyways.
I’ve ordered through doordash twice, the first time I only ordered milk tea and rice; the second time I ordered milk tea and the teriyaki chicken bento box. I was expecting your standard white rice. But LET ME TELL YOU - This rice is the stickiest and most flavorful white rice I’ve had and it has eel sauce on it. Each time I got it, it was two large scoops. Rice didn’t have to go that hard but it did and it’s honestly what got me hooked. The teriyaki chicken bento box was DELICIOUS; the chicken had a great grilled flavor; the salad with the dressing was super good and fresh and crispy. The fried dumpling was perfect; the milk tea is big and the best milk tea I’ve ever had; it’s not overwhelmingly sweet and the flavor is perfect. 11/10, this restaurant is delicious.
