Played basketball with Hub Stacy back in the 90s… I remember when he started the restaurant. Today my wife and I ate here and it is nice as ever. Located in historic downtown Pensacola across from a park with beautiful live oaks. Whether you like to watch the game inside or enjoy the canopy area outside… it’s a treat. Today Sarah was our waitress. She was excellent!
Went on Memorial Day at the recommendation of a bartender in the area. Seated ourselves and ordered. I have a food allergy and was told I could not specialize the Cuban sandwich. I explained I was allergic and only wanted to eliminate the ham. The waitress said that even if I had a dairy allergy I wasn’t allowed to request no cheese because the kitchen doesn’t allow “special” orders. Thanks but no thanks, Hub Stacey. I can’t recommend this to anyone with a food allergy or special food requirement.
Loved it. Nice local hangout, in the cutest downtown square area. The patio is dog friendly, and there’s a little park right across the street. The food was amazing. Highly recommend the ham club with the potato salad.
Environment was amazing. Food tasted great. Classic dinner date off a southern historical street. And then both me and my date got violent food poisoning from completely separate dishes. We did not share our meals at all, and I will never be able to eat shrimp ever again. Hate to leave bad reviews, but something needs to changed to how they are storing, prepping and handling the food.
This is a great little place in downtown Pensacola with a nice atmosphere inside and out.. The bartenders are very attentive and the food is always consistent. They have outdoor seating on the patio that is covered and is dog friendly. Thank you Hun Stacey's for being a downtown Pensacola icon and for your consistent service.
Amazing food and atmosphere. I'd give more stars if I could. Great service. Great music. Hot fresh food. We had the main street with loaded fries and hot wings. Will definitely be back!
Come ready to eat and drink! Hub Stacey's sandwiches are crazy good and can feed 2 people on one order. Make sure to note when you visit. Sandwiches come in pairs. Great atmosphere, service, and local vibe.
The food tasted old and bland. It was too greasy and didn’t have fresh ingredients. Employee did comp a small soup because we didn’t finish our food
For all the effort they put into other food items you would think they could make a better veggie sandwich; I’ve had it before since this is one of my husbands favorite places but if you don’t eat meat don’t bother. You get some sprouts, tomatoes slices, cucumber slices, hummus (I think you pay extra for that ?). Save some money and just get the hummus appetizer. 2 stars because my husband says his Cuban is awesome.
A local gem! Great location, food, drinks, service & environment! So glad restrictions are minimal and live music is back! Nice locals vibe!
