Great food with amazing atmosphere! We had dinner here this past weekend and it was absolutely delicious. I would recommend making reservations but we totally lucked up and got a table for two walking up on a Friday night. Totally recommend the brussel sprouts for an appetizer. Both of our meals were great but I have to say hat the sauces that were used make the meal fabulous. For sure will be back!
We had a fantastic meal of appetizers and tapas. We went with the scallop dip special (amazing), the savory lobster cheesecake (wonderful), the creamy NOLA BBQ shrimp (delicious) and the lamb lollipops (lil chops, which were better the last time we had them.) We had some excellent wine and cocktails and our server was knowledgeable, quick and friendly.Can't wait to come back with friends or for another special occasion.
This is our favorite restaurant to visit in Pensacola when we come over for a concert at the Saenger Theater. It never disappoints. The lamb tapas plate is to die for! We also tried the tuna cubes and they were phenomenal.
Amazing food, but I guess good service is just way too much to ask for - a sign of the times. I'm laid back and have worked the hospitality industry in the past to know how it should be done. Understand staff shortages, but when the server says. I'll just bring you whatever, whenever - I've never heard that, and that's what she did. The first person was finished eating before the third person got their food. Everyone was finished before the fourth person got a tapa special. But luckily we had good company and enjoyed our visit. It is a high-end restaurant and the food is highly recommended.
The food was just amazing. Recent experiences in other high-end restaurants have been extremely disappointing. I reasoned it being Covid related problems! However, Global grill proved that no matter what the situation, you still get amazing food and service. Jen, our server, was friendly and great at recommending great drinks and items from the menu. Definitely looking forward to going there soon.
Great ambiance! Great presentation and the food was very well prepared. This is a chef owned business. Every entré I saw come out smelled and looked amazing. Almost every dish is heavy in dairy however, the chef can prepare on few non-dairy dishes.
I celebrated my birthday twice already in this very friendly and amazing restaurant. Me and hubby love to go there. We are always happy and the food is excellent and yummy.
I do apologize for no pictures ! This was an outstanding dinning experience. Had many meals from New York to New Orleans and everywhere in between. No pictures because the experience was captivating from beginning to end. The atmosphere, the aromas cascading through the air , cocktails and conversation with our outstanding server Tony . Absolutely amazing evening . DO TRY EVERYTHING ! I do believe we ordered almost everything on menu. Thank you all for an amazing Birthday dinner!
First and foremost, our server “Jen” was one of best servers if not the best servers I have ever had. No kidding, I’ve been to many grand restaurants in my 62 years and she is remarkable. Friendly, perfectly professional, and efficient. Can’t ask for more. Ambiance is great. The menu is extraordinary.(Jen recited from memory three topas specials and how they were prepared). I had the lobster cheese cake hot topas, the scallops on a fried shell(not the official name), and the bbq shrimp. The first two were extraordinary. The bbq shrimp were okay but no where near the others. I also had the potato crusted grouper which was excellent as a main dish.(we shared the topas. The carrot cake dessert was a bit disappointing but the pumpkin ice cream was great. Highly recommend this place and kudos to Jen for being one of the best ever.
The food & service was amazing. It seemed they were short staffed with only 1 host on a busy Saturday night but she managed it well. Our server Bob was very knowledgeable and gave us a great experience! The steak is amazing. Definitely make reservations for this place. The bar seating fills up fast.
