Thank you so much for a great night celebrating our girl! Our server was the BEST and so accommodating to our daughter who has special needs. The food was delicious. Our daughter had a great 13th birthday!! Thank You!!
Went last Sunday for the Jazz Brunch. I was blown away with the place. Super friendly staff, Incredible food and great music. If you are ever in Pensacola don't miss this place!
The food was phenomenal! Exceptional service. Friendly and hip atmosphere. This is a true gem and definitely a go to spot when in town.
Our first visit to Five Sisters. Ashley, our server was “on point “. She answered many questions and had great menu recommendations. The restaurant was spotless. My party ordered a variety of items from the menu. We were all satisfied. It was worth the visit for the shrimp and fried green tomatoes alone! The portion size was very generous. Just a great place to enjoy a meal and hang out!
Best fried chicken in the South. This place has sooooooo much history and is Blues Marker 203 on the Blues Tour. Everyone from the blues world has Been here in decades past- Aretha, Billie Holliday, Tina Turner, Duke Ellington, Dizzie, Ray Charles…. It is a hole in the wall just Nirth of downtown Pensacola. Do yourself a favor….stop in here. It is fantastic southern food!!
The food was impressive with giant portions! Yes! It tastes like someone's grandma is cooking in that kitchen!
The Go Retro tour guide had pointed out this cafe earlier in the day and pointed out you would get a discount for eating here. Pot roast was on the menu so we ate here. Was half expecting to hear blues music, either live or piped, but not to be. Indeed apart from records on the wall it just looked like many other restaurants. Not sure pot roast is why people eat here but it was both plentiful and tasty. Was surprised cafe manager was not aware of the Go Retro leaflet and the free dessert. However they happily honoured the offer. The fruit cobbler sounded good but we were full so we had the ice cream. Interestingly although the cafe is supposedly in a poor location, the final bill was very similar to when we visited a highly rated very popular Irish pub in the area. Still we are glad we came
This place has the best fried chicken I’ve ever tasted ??. Service was excellent, music was great. Wait was 30 minutes but that was ok. The red beans lacked flavor to me. The okra bland. Overall, it was a good experience.
Our server was Kim, she was so friendly and so helpful with the menu. My wife and I got the sister sampler that had green fried tomatoes, shrimp blue crabb cakes and we also ordered a bowl of gumbo. All the food was excellent and the gumbo was the very best we had ever had. Going there again today.
My family loves everything about this restaurant!
