Provided great customer service today. I called to explain how on the door dash app I didn’t have the option to add an extra wide or even what bread option I wanted and they called my driver to return so they could add my options!! Very friendly and accommodating! Great food always
Food was good, not great. I had a 2 pc fried chicken dinner. The chicken was good the Mac was good. The candied yams were ok. I recommend it and would return.
A top-notch meal if you missing home cooking this is the place to go I mean everything is good the fried chicken the smothered pork chop the candy in the collard greens with or without okra the cornbread the road the desserts the desserts banana pudding pound cake chocolate cake I mean everything like your grandma used to make if you've never been you need to go ASAP
Visited from TN on 2/21/22 & was craving soul food. The collards were extremely salty. Customer service experience was phenomenal. It was refreshing to see the cook return from outside & wash his hands upon his return
Very good food,jus the few times I have been they do not have most of the food they advertise. Would have given 5 stars if they had all food advertised. ??. Food in pic is the hamburger steaks,greens,stuffing an rice an gravy?
Chicken was good, but the macaroni was water down, dressing taste like stove top, lasagna is stouffer, corn bread was dry (over cooked)I couldn’t eat it. This place has really lost it touch. All the good cooks are no longer here and the newer ones is bring the name of this restaurant down. It was once a great place to eat.
I was disappointed in my experience yesterday. We were there shortly after 11:30 am and they had one serving of smothered pork chops left, They were not the normal quality and it didn't look like they were going to have more available. . They did not have the selection of desserts that is usual for them and the chocolate cake we ordered was dry. I heard the staff member who was serving say they only had two meats left: baked or fried chicken and I didn't see anything else. It may have been early and they were still cooking, but it was disappointing.I want to compliment the lady who was at the to go bags and silverware table. She was delightfully warm and welcoming! We will visit again sometime but maybe later in the afternoon.
Love eating here. It's down home southern comfort food. So good. They have a decent amount of choices. You can eat in or take out.
